Hello, I've seen some great cage rager conversions, and really don't want to put cages on my second one. Some people remove most of the wooden bar on his shoulders, twist the hands so that the blades look like the weapons. I'm thinking there's almost a masked luchador / superhero look to it I still want to put something hanging from the hands though - similar to people who have a basket of apples or skulls or a flame brazier. Just spitballing here - anyone got awesome suggestions for things to hang from his fists for a superhero or luchador look?

One ton weights like in the old cartoons? You might look at conversions of the Dire Troll Brawler for inspiration, too. Fishing nets full of people might be a thought, but it seems like a serious modeling challenge.
EDIT: Chairs! Wrestlers love chairs!

A small warbeast, like a Gorax maybe, in each hand? Being lifted by the throat or face?

A small warbeast, like a Gorax maybe, in each hand? Being lifted by the throat or face? An interesting way to be inventive and associate it with your meta. One might also want to include lessers, 'jacks, or even beast packs, too. If the Cage Rager has numerous such kills, it would be fun to include them here as a 'warning' to everyone you play against and be fun with it.
While not a true "conversion" story, back when I was collecting Chaos Marines in 40K, I had a "Thousand Sons" unit which had its members 'recruited' from captured Loyalists. The recruitment process involved a more localized form of the Rubric of Ahriman and forced those reluctant to voluntarily betray the Imperium to act as bodyguards. I had planned on setting up the pauldron colors to match the colors of units I had overrun in previous games (the rest of the armor would be set up to be more consistent with the rest of the army). I mention this only because how much I love Samurai's idea and used something similar in the past.

A small warbeast, like a Gorax maybe, in each hand? Being lifted by the throat or face? I really like this idea- I have bits from a troll bbox - thinking of him lifting an impaler in a 1-handed choke hold while the other prepares a cage or something. Slightly worried about such a significant conversion and tourney-legality though. A repose & loss of 'weapons' might be seen as a loss of iconic components of the model. Might see if I can hang a different cage off the arms.

You could do wicker balls full of gobbers, like the villagers were put in in The Dark Crystal. That would still be a cage.

I have been trying to find something that will work for a Cage Rager conversion for a little while now as I run two of em. Must share pics when folks find cool options!
