Have you considered bringing Anson Hitch? The Blockhouse is a Trencher model. Anson Hitch has Tactician [Trencher]. Zero problems. MIND FREAKIN BLOWN!!! I knew It got Veteran Leader from Finn, didn't realise it got Tactician from Hitch! Ready for one more? The Patrol Dog gives it Dodge through Veteran Leader if it's within 3". As a structure, it cannot move, but it does get Dodge. =P

I played into the dual blockhouse list yesterday. It was really good. I killed a lot of guys and at the end of the game I think he only had about 6 dead. Middle of the board was covered in trenches. Was hoping to jam him out of scenario but messed up and lost by the end.

I've been trying out Siege2 double blockhouse recently, along with both Caine 1 & 2, I have Max Trenchers + UA and Max Commandos + UA in the list, and being able to bring a selection of them back seems pretty nice (note : not the strongest play available). They have never done nothing, even if it was just shooting quake shots or drifting pow 10s around the board. I much preferred the list with Siege2 he just seemed more fun than Caine 1 or 2, and Fury is a big help in killing hardier stuff than infantry. The only issue is learning when to throw away trenchers, and also that it can only bring back grunts, which means any UAs or Weapon Attachments have to play a little safer that you'd like, but that's not a huge issue overall. I'm really tempted to try a double Trencher Infantry list, just to see how it plays, but I only own one unit and haven't gotten round to asking to borrowing a club mates models. I may just bite the bullet and purchase a second unit next payday...
