When I started painting I decided right away that I would get bored painting all my models the same color, so my trollbloods are very diverse in their colors. The unit leaders are all red-skinned, though, for some reason. (I wanted my opponent to be able to pick them out more easily) The only pic I am able to upload right now is of my fire eater leader, and the OSL looks terribly chalky in it, but is only obviously chalky around the edges from up close. More pictures will follow as I figure out how to make them work. I started the unit on the Trollkin Grunt, whose picture will have to wait on figuring out how to shrink the file size. The Pyg Grunt is actually the one in the unit that I am happiest with. Attachments:

i think the reason why the pyg looks better is that the OSL is in a more orange shade than the fire. On the unit leader you have a super bright yellow for the OSL, and that does not look very natural.

On the unit leader you have a super bright yellow for the OSL, and that does not look very natural. do you think that one would sell better if it were a bit greener and darker, then? I didn't think about that much, I just went with exactly the stuff that I painted the booze with.

You could try to glaze the areas a bit with green yes...
