See (to those who were lamenting the Champ's girded)...girded makes a lot of sense of this unit. HERESY!

They also get righteous Vengence and girded so paladin lists could become a thing in FM. Aren't they already a thing? I mean I run villmon double champ of the wall in basically every faithfull masses list because it’s so good. But never the generic solos.

These guys may be one wound. Either that or they hit like a paper towel. Otherwise they will totally outshine standard pallies (which is fine of course given that standard pallies are below the curve). If all 3 of them are b2b, you kill one and their down by 3 armour. If they have only 1 wound then high explosives can be expected to threaten them. We won't know till CiD of course.

Expecting DEF 13 ARM 14. An ARM 15 is a possibility, given that seems to be PP's valuation of a unit without a shield (different from the Shield advantage). I expect their initiate status to come in for their offensive prowess. I envision no more than MAT 7 POW 12 WM, though likely 11 WM instead.

Without Girded the standard FM Harby set up (B2B with Vilmon and Devout behind the wall) wouldn't be half as incredibly powerful as it is now.

At least for me, blasts have never been an issue for Harbie. But that sounds like a hell of a way to sink points doing nothing.

Let's see how many WTC players decide to "sink points" that way If it's indeed that useless, I guess there won't be any.
For me lack of Blast immunity would be an excellent opportunity in my games against Harby, a game changer for me to be honest (yeah, I love my Redeemers ).

Bringing Vilmon, yes. Using him as a b2b bodyguard, probably not and so much harder to proof for every WTC player every game.

If they are single wound I will be disappointed as they would be extremely easy to kill regardless of armor. There are a lot of effects that just deal a damage like corrosion and anatomical precision to name a few. Those are pretty common in a lot of the armies I play and play against. If they are 5 wound, they will be annoying to remove, which would fit their theme.

I expect 13/15 5 boxes each with Pow 14 halberds and for the whole package to cost about 6-8 points. Give them righteous vengeance from villmon would make them actually offensive as well. I would like for them to hit pretty hard because they lose survive-ability so quickly once you ping off one of them.
