After realizing that I am bored and started posting a bunch of CID lists that I want to try but probably won't be able to until next Monday at the earliest, I decided to create a thread for the lists as a way to not clog up the other CID thread. Feel free to post your own list here too. The only request/rule I have for this thread is to please quote the list you want to comment on if there are multiple lists in a row or one that is farther up the thread. This will hopefully cut down on any confusion. I'll start with another new list, this one run by The Harbinger: conflictchamber.com/#c2201b_-0Em11U1U1r1LlUl-1ql-1q3nk92_lX2mbQ___-0c0-eV3Uf72M2M2P3R2K2LlQlQProtectorate Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Exemplar Interdiction !!! Your army contains CID entries. (Harbinger 1) The Harbinger of Menoth [+28] - Crusader [10] - Crusader [10] - Devout [9] - Vigilant [9] - Exemplar Warder [0(5)] Exemplar Bastion Seneschal [0(5)] - Dervish [7] Exemplar Bastion Seneschal [5] - Dervish [7] Exemplar Errant Seneschal [4] Exemplar Warder Elias Gade [5] Choir of Menoth (min) [4] Exemplar Bastions (max) [13] Exemplar Errants (max) [16] - Exemplar Errant Officer & Standard [4] To be honest, I'm not 100% sure what my plan was when building this list other than trying to abuse the Bastion Seneschal's new Drive and The Harbinger can keep them alive. EDIT: The more I look at this list, the more I'm wishing I had someone that can heal her...

And here's something from Feora1 to try and abuse the Shrine:
Protectorate Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Guardians of the Temple
!!! Your army contains CID entries.
(Feora 1) Feora, Priestess of the Flame [+31] - Hand of Judgment [18] - Sanctifier [14] Pyrrhus, Flameguard Hero [0(5)] Daughters of the Flame [10] Daughters of the Flame [10] Flameguard Cleansers (max) [15] - Flameguard Cleanser Officer [0(4)] Temple Flameguard (max) [11] - Temple Flameguard Officer & Standard [0(4)] Shrine of the Lawgiver [14] Shrine of the Lawgiver [14]

(Cyrenia 1) High Exemplar Cyrenia [+28] - Guardian [15] - Sanctifier [14] Exemplar Warder Elias Gade [0(5)] Hand of Silence [7] Knights Exemplar Seneschal [0(5)] Exemplar Cinerators (max) [15] - Exemplar Cinerator Officer [0(6)] Exemplar Errants (max) [16] - Exemplar Errant Officer & Standard [4] Knights Exemplar [9] Knights Exemplar [9] Shrine of the Lawgiver [14]
thought about running this.
A note I have found. Taking cinerators and the Church really limits the rest of the list. I almost feel like just not taking one of them would make stronger lists overall eg: (Cyrenia 1) High Exemplar Cyrenia [+28] - Templar [15] - Templar [15] Exemplar Warder Elias Gade [0(5)] Hand of Silence [7] Knights Exemplar Seneschal [0(5)] Exemplar Errants (max) [16] - Exemplar Errant Officer & Standard [4] Knights Exemplar [9] - Knights Exemplar Officer [0(5)] Knights Exemplar [9] - Knights Exemplar Officer [5] Knights Exemplar [9] Shrine of the Lawgiver [14]
In my experience with this theme (and game in general) More bodies is almost always the proper solution. This version gives me UA's for the knights E AND an additional unit of knights exemplar. Also upgrades the Jacks to double Templar.
I am hoping cinerators with Cyrena (Literally all the buffs they want and need) will justify themselves. SPD 7 shieldwall at arm 23 with repo for a 10" move every turn seems impressive enough.

Something about it is intriguing but it's not calling to me like some of the others I have posted. conflictchamber.com/#c2201b_-0ElT1X3Uk9lRm03BlZlSlZlS2jfV2jfVProtectorate Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Exemplar Interdiction !!! Your army contains CID entries. (Cyrenia 1) High Exemplar Cyrenia [+28] - Guardian [15] - Sanctifier [14] Exemplar Warder Elias Gade [0(5)] Hand of Silence [7] High Exemplar Gravus [8] Wrack [1] Exemplar Cinerators (max) [15] - Exemplar Cinerator Officer [0(6)] Exemplar Cinerators (max) [15] - Exemplar Cinerator Officer [0(6)] Knights Exemplar [9] - Knights Exemplar Officer [5] Knights Exemplar [9] - Knights Exemplar Officer [5] I feel that Hand of Silence isn't being used properly here, but he comes with a spray which is one of two models with ranged attacks in this list. I'm at a loss here. Something doesn't feel right with it. In your list you really do get to take advantage of the dude spam and punish your opponent for it. Mine doesn't really feel that way.

With the new changes, my Durst list I wanted to test out doesn't change too much, just less support models: conflictchamber.com/#c2201b_-0EeUl_l_lUl-l-k9lXlXlZlSlZlSProtectorate Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Exemplar Interdiction !!! Your army contains CID entries. (Durst 1) Anson Durst, Rock of the Faith [+28] - Indictor [14] - Indictor [14] - Exemplar Warder [0(5)] Exemplar Bastion Seneschal [5] Exemplar Bastion Seneschal [5] Exemplar Warder Elias Gade [5] Exemplar Bastions (max) [15] Exemplar Bastions (max) [15] Exemplar Cinerators (max) [15] - Exemplar Cinerator Officer [0(6)] Exemplar Cinerators (max) [15] - Exemplar Cinerator Officer [0(6)] Again, if you saw this before, I'm mostly going for a thematic look of all the Medium bases. I could see swapping out the Indictors for 4 Dervishes too to really kick that idea into full gear. Funnily enough, Tristan might run this well too.

Have you considered putting in a Reclaimer to get Ashen Veil or Future Sight on Durst?

I'm wondering if Menoth can now do the miserable meat mountain style with Bastions and Cinerators, especially with HR, Testament or Harbinger
Bring the Shrine for even more recursion, or bring Vessel to supplement the healing from the Bastion Seneschal

I tried it when EI first dropped but in practice there wasn't enough attacks or speed or damage or armor at the time and no pathfinder so it took the hit and proceeded to just not deliver.
I think with the few changes that CID brought, it could work now. I had double Bastions though, maybe double Cinerators would work better and just axe the Bastions and their seneshal. The Vessel can heal enough.

Cinerators with martyrdom seem decent. In sheildwall they will require high quality attacks to one shot which makes martyrdom even stronger. Arm 21 5 Boxes requires a Boosted Pow 15 to one shot. So your talking heavies and moderate pow weaponmasters at that point. Both of which will have a lower volume of attacks (hopefully)
The issue is hitting back, and while I appreciate Pow 12’s with 3 dice Damage into most things, I wonder if it will struggle into harder targets.
Assuming an arm 19 Heavy lays into the cinerators and you martyr to keep them most of them alive, you can get 2 attacks per dude into it so by sheer volume of attacks you can potentially wail on a heavy.
Cinerators are so close now. I really think giving the base unit Sheildwall, and letting the UA have a stronger minifeat makes them perfect.

A shield wall vanguard potentially gives him a way to deliver an army - the big thing he has always lacked. Plus his ARM buff has never been so enticing. I said this in the CID thread, but a reviving (via shrine) tactician shield wall sounds amazing for the front of a brick. Edit: RE macdaddy "Arm 21 5 Boxes requires a Boosted Pow 15 to one shot" People sometimes use average dice on this forum in a way that would never fly on the table. A single boosted 15 will kill that 50% of the time. I would require something better than a boosted 15 if I wanted to one shot it

As for the dice math, personally, I go by the rule of thumb that the enemy will always make their 50/50 rolls and I will always fail them. Might be a little too conservative, but I'd rather overkill than come up short.

The Bastions are not durable enough to perform such a task and their output does not justify their points cost. You'd be better served with Cinerators guarding for Knights Exemplar. Double Cinerator can totally be a thing, though.

ARM21/23 on 5 wound model is still easy enough to overcome.

Nope. Cinerators anchor a force well enough. But they're certainly not delivering it.
