Hex blast everywhere all of a sudden... Must be PP's flavor-of-the-month Also, the house of rising weapon masters is dumb. Up to 3 medium based infantry models a turn? I think that is pretty significant with Sanguine bond and anything that could heal bastions. The forward models could soak another 15 points of damage to get where ever they wanted. "Yep, I'ma just eat that counter charge and keep on swinging". As well as them getting cheaper. They are slow but Desperate pace can now help. I don't really see bastions being too bad. Innate speed 5 would be respectable. But little huh-man limbs in heavy armor doesn't go very fast. Skarre3 does this in Slaughterfleet. COC does way more than this. Old Witch3 does this in Grymkin. Both casters dont even need souls or anything. Its probably just fine, and hardly novel.

RE Hex Blast, upkeep hate on Exemplar models is hardly novel. It's not super exciting on a FOC 6 caster, and I almost always have better things to do, given her spell list.
Hot takes after my game. -Cyrenia is very good. Her Battle Plans are uneven - Repo3 almost always feels like the right call, doubly so if you are running Cinerators like I was. Spell list is amazing balanced well by FOC 6 and a preference for a theme lacking the Hierophant. Feat is solid.
-Errants are back, baby. I liked them with her and they performed admirably, flipping the bird to e-leaps all day long.
-Up on Gade. Desperate Pace is just so good with Exemplars.
-Down on Cinerators. The base unit does not justify its points, and I was able to engineer very favorable situations for them. Salt in the wound, those situations were setups from Cyrenia and Gade, not the Cinnies.
-Cinnie CA is basically okay. Take Down is never bad and Shield Wall was good on the approach. Minifeat was not useful and is still too situational in a theme that basically oozes magic hate.
-Exemplar Warder is hilariously frustrating for your opponent. He really impressed me and is a shield guard that really sticks around. A+ on this guy.

Making Harby even more powerful ? Well, that's a surprise.

"Here's your point reduction, now go away" the CID.
Granted point reductions are good, but they don't fix the underlying exemplar problem which is "unless opponent punches me in a particular way all my infantry stuff is understatted and undersupported".
Also "please buy new stuff to make old stuff work", but that's a common theme with cid at this point.

So with the book singing no knockdown, he can still shield guard even after he has been disabled At least he is a shield guard that counts toward theme free points or be taken as a free model Although, you get more from Rhoven and Co for the point cost I think. For only 4 more points, you get two shield guards with basically the same stats, but more wounds as well as the utility the Rhoven provides. Downside, they do not count towards free points

So why are they buffing harbie instead of one of the feora's or Rezzie1? Maybe the christmas factions will be a guardians themed one where feora will get a look at.

“Free” isn’t free. There is opportunity cost to consider. Besides, if I’m going to play FM I’m gonna do it with pSevy and make a gun line. It’s better than anything Harby can do. She needs these buffs. Full stop, that’s a fact. Wrong. Second Full Stop.

I think my friend was ready to fire him out of a Stormwall cannon.

So the only things I'm really disappointed in are: -Kreoss2. Dude needs fixing. He will certainly be what I report on the most, assuming I can get games in. -Bastions. Yeeeeeah, point drop just ain't doing it. -Vengers. Lance is a god-awful rule. PP gets told this every time, and every time they insist on this god-awful rule. I get it, it's evocative. But it's also clunky, counter-intuitive, and a huge downside to every unit that has it. Also Bond of Brotherhood gives too much control over the performance of your models to your opponent.
Otherwise, everything looks reasonable (yes, I may be totally biased here), and I'm intrigued.

So Errants can basically just mulch infantry off zones now like they use to mulch infantry in MK2, right?

I wouldn't say mulch, but they hold their own.

I guess I am too use to having played them in pop and drop in mk2 but it's still really nice to see something in this faction and go "hey, that works in the current SR" I'm excited to use them again without them feeling janky and overcosted

After playing against so much Xerxis1, I am so ready for a fist of halaak style K2 list with double cinerators + structure for an endless tactician shield wall. Let's hope the K2 changes to come are good!
Something like:
Kreoss2 -BG
Shrine
Wrack or Mechanik Elias Gade (free)
Exemplar Cinerators (max) Officer (free) Exemplar Cinerators (max) Officer (free) Knights Exemplar Officer Errants (max)
