I am attending a small friendly tournament in may and wanted to try my two favorite casters. Siege2 is for arm cracking, anti shooting. Haley3 should be def spam and deal with dude spam.
Beforehand: i sadly only own some more not already included trencher models: Trencher UA and the dog. What do you think about Alexia2 in Sieges list? I think she could shine using the smokescreen to keep her save.
So for the Lists:

If Siege 2 is to be the armour cracking list then Ragman is pretty much mandatory imho

True. So Alexia is out and Ragman and Trencher UA are in. Or do you have something better in mind?
How about Haley3? Never played SoT before. But i dont want to run GD twice.

H3 usually is the best GD caster we have. Siege2 could play Storm Division quite good, if you are interested in a swap.
What do you think H3 offers to Sons of Tempest?

Def 16 all over the board is a thing. I love Haley3 in GD. Its very clock consuming but always very good. Do you think Def 16 is not enough to stay alive long enough to win on senario or attrition? Thank you for your thoughts. I cant play often, which limits my expirience with new built lists. Siege gives SD elevation. But is this sufficient? Or do you have a different thing in mind?

Siege can also make the small and medium based storm knights dig in, bringing their defense against ranged/magic up to 16 (18 if also on a hill). That said, my recommendation is that you stick with Siege2 in Gravediggers. Bring Ragman, as already noted. But without Trench Busters, you're going to be sad. Is it possible for you to trade the Forgeguard for a unit of Commandos with CA? My recommendation, if you have or can get the models, for a 50 point armor cracking Siege2 list is to try this: Theme: Gravediggers 2 / 2 Free Cards 49 / 50 Army Colonel Markus 'Siege' Brisbane - WJ: +28 - Rocket Turret - Triumph - PC: 18 (Battlegroup Points Used: 18) - Ironclad - PC: 12 (Battlegroup Points Used: 10) Captain Maxwell Finn - PC: 0 Trench Buster - PC: 0 Trench Buster - PC: 5 Ragman - PC: 4 Trencher Infantry - Leader & 5 Grunts: 10 - Trencher Infantry Officer & Sniper - PC: 5 Trencher Commandos - Leader & 9 Grunts: 15 - Trencher Commando Officer - PC: 4 Trencher Express Team - Spotter & Gunner: 5 THEME: Gravediggers ---

Thank you for your advice! Sadly i cant get my hands on some Trench Busters. (Will order some of them for the future. Do you always bring two or is one enough? I dont want to order a model that mostly sits on the shelf. ) But i could probably borrow some commandos. But what do they bring for armor cracking, aside from delivering a flanking option? Do you guys have some advice on my SoT-List? I know, there will be Cygnar, Khador,Trolls, Menoth and Retribution in the lineup. If i get more information i will complete the list.

I always play two in Gravediggers lists. For Commandos, specifically regarding their armor cracking abilities, they have Anatomical Precision, so they do one auto-point of damage to living models regardless of armor/rolls. They also have Pathfinder, which is means that it's easier to deliver them. When combined with Kiss of Lyliss and/or Death Field, they take Fury decently and go up to POW12, up to a max (when all of the stars align from mini-feat, Deathfield, and Kiss of Lyliss) of P&S 18.
