I'm curious if you guys have any ideas on how make your own tokens? What materials and so on.
Glass beads for fury /focus but something for spells, affects and upkeeps?

Extra bases from other sources and washers are nice as well for your general countable tokens. Metal washers can also take whiteboard marker writing (wipe of easy as well). Larger rare earth magnets can be an interesting way of keeping track of stuff (cube ones in particular), especially if you have some kind of magnetizing system in the base already.
As for other things, I haven't done anything, but it might be cool to do stuff from bits/milliput. Flames on a 20mm or smaller washer etc... Hmm... *starts planning a new project*

I've just been using pennies for focus and pressed-cardboard squares for tokens (like from the back of a writing pad). It's pretty, uh... rough and ready. I've thought about making some handmade stuff like [these beautiful tokens from the Gardens of Hecate blog](https://gardensofhecate.blogspot.com/2017/01/cxiii-new-growths-in-garden.html) but I haven't yet gotten there.

I tried using the small round bases for a time, painting the appropriate type of token on there. After a time, I gave up on it though. I haven't found a solution I've liked, yet.

I really like the green-stuff-on-coins token method. I'm considering doing something like that, maybe with nickels.

I started playing with a wood burning kit. The tokens are large and unwieldy so far, but they are definitely unique. And maybe not ugly, but definitely not pretty.
