I second the request for a run down on your blue steel, plus all your other NMM techniques.
Baldur1 seems solid (get it), but not exciting. I'll give him a go. I'll also have a long hard think on Mohsar as he is very fun.

I roll too many double 1s on my Ravagers...Hopefully triple 1s will be a rarer occurrence!
I like the idea of 6 Scarsfells for cracking all of the armor, then having a bunch of Tharn to clean up infantry. My issue with her CoTW builds is that so many things eat Defense skews these days (and I hate lists that rely on my opponent rolling average - see also, why I play Krueger2)
I CAN see maybe running a bunch of Griffons and the Storm Raptor with her...but then I also like the idea of the Raptor on Una2...and we have no real clue how the Storm Raptor is going to look after internal testing...
Damnit, why can't the update drop already!

The question is more what i am NOT interested in trying lol.
Im looking at the conundrum of including the well in CotW to get a blood shaman for the damage buff. I think it is probably not worth it, but it sure is tempting. If o ly there were better targets to sacrifice...

I'm super excited about wild hunt now that our heavies have pathfinder and can actually leverage the theme bonus.

I'm super excited about wild hunt now that our heavies have pathfinder and can actually leverage the theme bonus. Is it with Wurmwood, or just in general?

In general but if I was to get specific I'd be looking at:
- Morvahna1/2 (obvious reasons but I'm also a big fan of skinwalkers. They need a buff but the unit plays very well with either of these ladies. I've been keeping my eye out for a second unit+UA for cheap for awhile now)
- Tannith (always liked her in WH but now the beasts get to play too. Scything touch on a warwolves lets you cycle it effectively in any given turn. Upkeep, run wolf, tag for sic'em, kill target affected then Tannith goes apply to another wolf and repeat. Bonus points if all you need to do is position the wolf so that loki drags the target into its melee range and then still gets to sic'em after the target is dead.)
- Grayle (vengeance on skinwalkers is good and the extra threat range of beasts is baller)
- Baldur1 (yes he works better with tharn but this isn't about the tippy top of competiveness)
- Wurmwood (Again for obvious reasons. So many souls is quite delicious)
- Mohsar (loves having a large amount of sands targets. Especially ambushing sands targets. Bloodweavers have stolen that thunder a bit though.)
I've played WH lists with all of them except Baldur and they were okay but the beast benefit felt like dead weight. Now it will actually mean something and they can leverage pathfinder to be much less predictable.

What about Kromac1 in Wild Hunt?
You get a mixed BG which he likes. Access to ambushing units for control and contesting. Skinwalkers as a “durable” contesting unit with IR.
I tried it pre CiD with muxed success. But with everything having PF now, and beasts being cheaper I might take it for a spin.

I'd tend much more towards Kromac1 in CoTW (with or without the Storm Raptor) or in Devourer's Host (for actually good infantry + access to the Blood Priestess). He doesn't really do much for Wolds, especially now that Wolves hit reasonably hard for their points again.

I think I like Kromac 1 in Dev Host better than WH because he can take the blood shaman there and he really wants her. Inviolable Resolve on Ravagers doesn't suck either. I think Wild Hunt has a some hope for play with Wurmy and Morv 1 should she keep mortality but outside that we need a bit of a CID to shore up some of the themes weakness. phantomsig - I'm in blitz painting mode for WMW right now, afterwards I'll have more time for articles and stuff I've been compiling batrep pictures of testing games and will have something like 15-20 to post after the tournament I need to force myself to play Baldur 1 and 2 and Morv 2 a bit, I haven't at all since CID. I also wanna figure out what to pair my Big Mac birdy list with so that it's balanced.

Parov stelar I believe is the band, I'll have to check with Chandler.
In other news, I took down an Iron Gauntlet qualifier today playing Krueger 2 and Kaya 3. Reports to come.

Thanks for the write ups! Round 1: Thats the woldwyrd dream come true. Questions though: How do you think you would have played the game if you didn't win the dice roll? How would the k2 vs H3 gravedigger game actually go? Round 2: You mention the starting dice roll was again key here, why? The speed of the list? What would you have done if you didn't win it Round 3: I am also interested on how attrition would go Cryx always worries me Round 4: After just starting with a fulcrum, the fire immunity only clicked with your summary so that excites me. In general though, after feat turn, how deadly are the judicators with their sprays? The AOEs seem to not be a huge threat, but the sprays still are yes?

Additional question:
The mist speaker gives the Krueger2 list an awesome tool against clouds and against stealth. But one alternative is two gallows groves. What are the toss ups here? He does seem to be worth it, but two Arc nodes for Rebuke and for TK are nothing to sneeze at.
