I had BoM walk up to a mauler with 3 focus at pow 22 and leave it on one box. I cried a little bit that day lol. On the other hand, I have had times were dice are bananas and I kill a mule in 3 un-boosted hits at pow 20 sooooo I gues thats what happens when you play a dice game

"Champions of the Order of the Wall get silly with her. They threaten 15" after her feat, or 18" if a warrior model died within 5" of them."
Emm, how you can get +2 threat range?

Not a single word about Vilmon, that's why I'm asking...

It would be perfectly logical to assume that you were asking about the feat component of the threat extension given you said 2" and not 3". If you were trying to hint that the source of the threat extensions should be in the tactica, it would have been easier to just say so . No one could have discerned that intention by your original words.

Anyone have any lists for someone looking to start playing Thyra? I'm still pretty bad at list building so whatever would give me the best ability to learn while also utilize her would be ideal.

Once you start with the standard set up for her in Guardians of the Temple, there's only so much room for other options:
Protectorate Army - 61 / 75 points [Theme] Guardians of the Temple
(Thyra 1) Thyra, Flame of Sorrow [+29] - Blood of Martyrs [16] Anastasia di Bray [3] Nicia, Tear of Vengeance [0(5)] Pyrrhus, Flameguard Hero [0(5)] Choir of Menoth (min) [4] Daughters of the Flame [10] Daughters of the Flame [10] Flame Bringers (max) [17] Flame Bringers (max) [17]
This leaves you with 14 normal points and 13 Warjack points and not that many options to choose from (Temple Flameguard? or Cleansers? or more jacks?).

Curious that you don't have Fire and Judy swapped. I find Thyra doesn't have a ton to do on a turn by turn basis and can afford to throw a Focus or two to the big lug. And Fire's threat range gets stupid with Road to War.
That said, there are great benefits to a fully loaded Judicator every turn.

Easier to keep Sevvy0 safe though.

Road to War and Righteous Vengeance would be hella mobile, though. Its worth a try swapping.
