Hi all!
Let´s say YOU wanted to run 3 full units of Forge Guard, which caster would YOU choose and why?
Ossrum because of his Tactician and Feat?
Gorten because of super tough (no kd due to spell) in Hammerstrike?
Magnus2 because of alpha strike potential due to feat?
Any other warcaster to consider?

Yes, I've run it both with Gorten and Ossrum. Gorten was before Tough change to Hammer Strike. Now I just run him with 2 units if I'm not playing my heavy jack spam with him. Ossrum, if I run more than one unit of Forge Guard, I run one unit behind spray bunnies and they just attack models through the bunnies that are jamming them. Not sure I'd run 3 FULL units, because I want 2 Siege Crawlers.

So I’ve never actually found a reason to use three units. My thoughts would be with Ossrum, or possibly Constance, for threat extension. Ossrum also gives pathfinder, and both casters boost their armour from alright to Amazing for one turn. Honestly though Connie does better in Cygnar I find (where she can get the focus help she needs) and Ossrum likes to bring crawlers with his forge guard, which means that you can’t fit three units in.

Gastone2 has potential with them. ARM 21, a turn of Stealth, Pathfinder on tap, and multiple shield guards to get them up the board.

Played 30 FG with Connie B in mk2, it was tight. Connie B is fine in mk3 but the list starts with double PK's and fewer players have/will pony up for that (im painting my second unit now because i love bad lists). I would play 30 FG with Ossrum.
I think Connie B is better in mercs for better theme (Irregulars vs. Heavy Metal). They just dumped PK's and SK's into a random theme to fulfill the "every model is in a theme." I think an arc node is decent with her, and its the only real draw foe a Cygnar build.

What does your list look like out of curiosity? |

this is the 4th or 5th iteration of the beginning list. It plays decently, better now that the world isnt teching for Ghost Fleet as much so I am not facing a wall of RFP. I have the Pk units so im going to use them. i tend to jam it all first round and feat early.
