zwergenkrieger With Jaga if I skip the BE I typically strongly consider Dahlia and Skarath. Same point cost too. Cheaper $-wise.

Yeah, all of those have either popular lists with RFP or the same comes stock. I'd avoid Maelok for sure under that circumstance. Jaga-Jaga then? With S+P, I like her with many attacks, particularly Croaks. Blindwater Gators could be good too though, and both in some ratio is an option, I suppose. If your Rask is as light on units as mine is, then having an off list to cover scenarios that require unit scoring would be good. I did consider Jaga-Jaga double croaks. But I'm leaning towards this list right now. I think it handles dude spam fine, which is the Rask weak point. But it also could play into mass medium base infantry as well. Either this, Maelock, or Jaga-Jaga I guess. I will see dark host, ghost fleet, lots of Grymkin in all flavours, exemplar theme force, nemo 3, Haley 3. As well as Skorne masters of war, and band of heroes. War Room Army Minions - vault Theme: Will Work For Food 2 / 2 Free Cards 75 / 75 Army Sturm & Drang - WB: +28 - Gatorman Soul Slave - PC: 0 - War Hog - PC: 15 (Battlegroup Points Used: 15) - War Hog - PC: 15 (Battlegroup Points Used: 13) - War Hog - PC: 15 - Battle Boar - PC: 7 - Razor Boar - PC: 7 - Razor Boar Sacral Vault - PC: 17 Sacral Vault - PC: 17 Lanyssa Ryssyl, Nyss Sorceress - PC: 0 Farrow Valkyries - Leader & 2 Grunts: 8 Swamp Gobber Bellows Crew - Leader & 1 Grunt: 2 THEME: Will Work For Food --- GENERATED : 02/27/2018 14:13:50 BUILD ID : 2061.18-02-21 One of my main lists is very similar to this except it has 1 of each Battle Engine. I originally made it that way because there was no way I was painting or buying a second Vault. The funny thing though is literally every game the Meat Thresher greatly out performs the Vault. Almost to the point where I might consider just running 2 Threshers instead. Honestly, the Sacral Vault never really seems to do a whole lot. Getting it enough souls for one, let alone two of them in this kind of list makes getting them to do work very challenging. The Meat Threshers though have a charging threat range of 14"-16", have decent shooting and are almost as immune to infantry when it has polarity field or vision on them as the Vault does plus they dont need any support (like souls) to do their work. After many games and reading Gaston's recent battle reports this is the list I am going to try this week: Minions - S&D WWF Final 75pts Theme: Will Work For Food 3 / 3 Free Cards 75 / 75 Army Sturm & Drang - WB: +28 - Gatorman Soul Slave - PC: 0 - War Hog - PC: 15 (Battlegroup Points Used: 15) - War Hog - PC: 15 (Battlegroup Points Used: 13) - Battle Boar - PC: 7 - Razor Boar - PC: 7 - Razor Boar Meat Thresher - PC: 16 Bog Trog Mist Speaker - PC: 0 Kwaak Slickspine & Gub, Croak Sorcerers - PC: 4 Dahlia Hallyr - Hallyr & Skarath: 17 - Skarath Hutchuk, Ogrun Bounty Hunter - PC: 0 Rorsh - Rorsh & Brine: 15 - Brine Farrow Bone Grinders - Leader & 3 Grunts: 5 Swamp Gobber Bellows Crew - Leader & 1 Grunt: 2 Counter Blast, Enliven and Vision on Skarath sounds super funny (Vision and Enliven sound like an amazing pair). This list (to me) just feels like a really fun all comers list and I can't wait to try it.

Personally I don't find Rask even close to as powerful as Maelok, but I suppose that's just playing style Would you like to explain? And is that statement related to Posse Spam only or do you even think that Maelok Posse Spam is more powerful than Rask Super Friends? It's related to Posse spam which IMO is the strongest list I can put on the table with minions. It does, however, not handle loads of high arm very well, which is why Rask Super Friends is a good pairing for it. I haven't had much luck with Rask though and I personally prefer BLoB, JagaJaga or Arkadius in front of him to pair with my Maelok. Maelok does always make it into my pairing though.

How about:
Multiple casters can do what Rask does and play the same match ups
No caster in Minions can replicate Maelok's strengths

I personally think Maelok has more bad matchups than Rask does. I'm comfortable dropping Rask into high ARM, gunlines, and I think the themes themselves take care of dude spam (Blindwater Gators and WWfF Overtake).
I hate Maelok into ARM spam. Mortality is simply not as good as Signs and Portents or Fury. It being an attack that is required to hit brings in so many more defenses that you just don't have to deal with using friendly buffs.

We haven’t been able to spam as many bodies with that high arm before. The difference between our medium base spam and other factions is that we also have immense speed (thanks to death ride and +2” deploy). Being able to cover large areas without getting killed in the process.
I find Rask good, but I find Arkadius fills the same role but does it better. But that really just comes down to personal choice I feel.

Right now my Rask Posse Spam is one of the best all comers lists I´ve ever made. In addition Rask offers a pretty sweet toolbox. On the other hand though running a comfortable list day after day makes you a bit lazy. That´s why I also like to change lists from gaming night to gaming night to be forced to leave the comfort zone.

The Sacral Vault is nearly always outperformed by the meat thresher in my games. Especially one you factor in Fury or some other buff/debuff. I love putting elasticity on him...
