Hi everyone,
I've been running over my normal play group at the moment with B3 and V2 and it has got to the stage where people are refusing to play either of those two lists. Given that I'm unlikely to get a broader play group anytime soon, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about a good list to play that is fun, different, perhaps a bit janky, but overall enjoyable and mid-tier to play? I have a pretty wide field of casters but not the full stable.

Well, what other casters do you own?

Oh, that's plenty! Just roll an 8 sided die twice, and use those casters!

I suggest H1 for an easy mode for your opponents. Then Z1 for some new flavour. Then S1 to show them that you initial paring was very nice.

Fang or WG theme. And by WG theme I mean not the min-max rockets+marauders, but bigger WG units.
You can try easier jack spam list than B3. Like a Strakhov or Jaws list with significant amount of infantry rather than pure jackspam.

Why are people not wanting to face your other lists? Are you bringing tournament lists and they are not? Or are they just bored?

Why are people not wanting to face your other lists? Are you bringing tournament lists and they are not? Or are they just bored? Pretty much, I've honed tournament lists and they haven't, as a result I'm mowing them down, just want something fun to play that isn't going to default win, but struggling to build one myself

It might be an opportunity to take Sorsha 2 out for a spin, see how she fairs now that she's lost Freezing Grip. She's always had some answers, so I'm guessing she could probably be built as a decent all-comers list.

I'm guessing neither of your lists really max out the warrior models, so that might be something to mix things up and still be decent. WG theme (probably Irusk2, together with Malakov to use some points) or LoS (an Irusk, Z1 for cloud wall with infantry, or Sorcha2 for Iron Flesh and the feat) could do that in interesting and different ways.
If you want very different, Sorcha1 snipers?

Here's my go-to Sorscha 1 list, versatile without being objectionably optimized:
74/75 Points- SORSCHA 1 +29 Warcaster -Beast 09 –21 Character Heavy Warjack -Devastator or Destroyer -14 Heavy Warjack -Juggernaut –12 Heavy Warjack -Sylys or Reinholdt -4 Mercenary Solo (Attached) Winter Guard Infantry [10] -10 Unit -Officer & Standard Bearer -4 Command Attachment -Rocketeers x3 -6 Weapon Attachment Kovnik Jozef Grigorovich –4 Solo Winter Guard Mortar Crew x2 -10 Units Winter Guard Artillery Kapitan -3 Solo Battle Mechaniks [4] -3 Unit Widowmaker Scouts [4] -8 Unit Widowmaker Marksman -4 Solo
Switch out the Merc Attachment, and it conforms to the Winter Guard Kommand Theme Force.

Irusk_1 and Assault Kommandoes! Not top tier, but killey enough that your opponents should respect them

I have a pretty wide field of casters but not the full stable. You need to go Page 5 on yourself.
Some of the BEST games I ever played were the ones I lost, because I walked away having learned something.
You have been honing your tournament lists so that they win games for you. Stop it! You need to win your games, not your lists. You want to play something different and keep your group gaming with you? Take garbage units. Take warjacks that nobody thinks are any good. Take the caster that everyone thinks is a stinker.
Take that stuff and craft a usable list and play it. Your challenge is to see if you can actually win, or at least come out respectable.
A lot of people can craft really good tournament lists that they will always win with. So what? How about becoming that guy that can play any caster with whatever army they throw together and winning? Instead of being a tournament player that plays Khador, become the Khador player that wins tournaments.
