I'm loving the lists with her and bloodgorgers. They have gotten easier to deliver (Jussika and Decel), hit harder with Skarre3's dragon something spell, and provide very difficult to remove triggers for gang fighter. I'm personally finding the idea of ranged jacks to be a bit of a trap with her, but I'm curious about the Overlords. What about them seems to be great in this theme?
I think ranged warjacks have game in Skarr3 slaughter fleet. Gang fighter is good, but all our ranged jacks still benefit from it - they have some good attacks. Maybe not enough initials, but to take advantage of boosted shooting on the way in and POW19 Mat8 attacks late game is nothing to scoff at.

Reading through cid week 3 battle reports, plenty of comments that smog belchers are over the top. Still not seeing it, and even in those battle reports I don’t really see how they pulled their weight.
Personally struggling to see why I’d pay 4pts more than a boarding party unit for concealment.
Are they a love them or hate them unit?

IMO definately a hate then unit, rat 5 means that they need to aim to have a chance of hitting something, specially troops that will be prevented from charging, and pow 14 wont do anything against heavy targets... and there are better units for making use of our debuffs Cloud wall with axiara is also not that good because they are not that fast and lack AD The unit went from good to garbage thanks to all the (mainly cygnar) whiners... so yeah, I bet they wont see q lot of game, but hey, I'd rather be wrong... And speaking of whiners... how is the coven doing post nerf?

Are they a love them or hate them unit? I definitely agree that a lot of the claims they were over the top were quite hyperbolic. Assuming no changes from week 3 CID, I think just like the Boarding Party, Smog Belchers are better taken in Min Units, though I’d probably only ever take a single min unit of Smogs, mostly because I think they’re the best Sucker! target in Slaughter Fleet. They’re a 13/15, Tough, 5 box model that can help hide your caster via clouds. 3 Smog Belchers can just hang around your caster while still contributing to the game reasonably well, while most other Sucker! targets would struggle to meaningfully contribute when you’re hiding your caster back since their guns are either short range or the unit is pure melee.

Overlords are a Mercenary Unit with partisan so you can always take a single unit of them in every Cryx Theme.

I thought it was the opposite, that by being partisans they ceased to be merc units so couldn't be included unless specifically listed, like in Black Industries. I'll have to play around in warroom to see

And speaking of whiners... how is the coven doing post nerf? I used them a few games just after the nerf and they're honestly doing better than my initial knee jerk reaction. Changing how overboosting works on the ball was entirely justified and they can still grant your army the alpha with the feat. Except, they can't do it anymore if your opponent has a fast army and happens to go first, then the feat is literally useless. But in many cases they can at least still get some sort of work from it.

For marauders, do you see them as a min or max unit? I can see potential for a small number to be irritating and set things on fire.
Got 6 cheap metal bloodgorgers and going to see if I can convert them to their fire twirling brethren

Got 6 cheap metal bloodgorgers and going to see if I can convert them to their fire twirling brethren It honestly depends on what the rest of the list looks like, and whether the unit is getting Jussika. Jussika definitely wants to be attached to a Max unit. If the Marauders are your core anchor unit Max. If not, probably Min.

Thinking Jussika goes on a max bloodgorger unit with min marauders going more a skirmish role. Agree her abilities are too good for a min unit
