ForsakenWurmwood has eyeless sight. Wanderer only has a 12” Control so avoiding star crossed in the early game should not be too hard. In addition, if wanderer is 12” away from your heavies, go for the kill Cassius and a Wayfarer or 2 can get rid of the road markers and then you murder the wanderer It’s not a terrible match up for Wurmy at all.

Honestly the arcane vortexes aren't that scary when stranglehold costs 2, and succesfully landing it ruins the heavy. you just power through it. most Dark Menagerie lists start with 2 or 3 arcane vortexes only, and whenever a death knell takes the time out of its day to hand corpses to a rager, its not handing them out to a skin and moans.
Dark Menagerie really sucks at projecting threat too, so Wurmy can basically camp 0 every turn and never die. Wanderer has no offensive ability at all.
Wanderer is a poor caster for that match up

Thanks for the tips. I have little doubt that with some more experience the game would be very different. My opponent, who is pretty familiar with him, was also very accomidating.
