Lol, my trust issues go the other direction. Helga does nothing for the damage output of our infantry, Brigands just don't love her like they do Midas. Which while there are infantry arguments for her, playing them out on the table takes you to jankland assassination runs very quickly. (Which tend to work due to Dark Horse) Unique to her is a TRIVIAL +4/+4 swing on all of our beasts, and it feels criminal to not maximally exploit that. Of course delivery is an issue, but you mean to say that between Witch Docs, Husk cloud walls, Valkyries, Lanyssa, Totem Hunter feat turn, River Raider feat turn, ALL IN THEME we can't figure out a way? Oh, I don't trust our infantry either. Except maybe Valkyries. But really, I only trust our Warlocks. Well, our good Warlocks. ...well, Arkadius, if I'm being honest.

....way to set the bar kinda high there? He just so happens to be the strongest, most flexible, AND most fun pig caster to play.
I mean, did I write him in on my last ballot? Perhaps...

It's ok, I've resigned myself to playing Arkadius paired with something I never actually drop and pretending I'm just running Arkadius. I can afford a high bar when the only thing I play meets it.
Midas with Valkyries and Brigands has been fun, and it's been nice to take Thornfall Alliance for a spin for the first time in a while, but I certainly don't trust the list yet.

Both thematically and because they need a buff to see wider use, I would love to see Ambush or AD on them. The other trick to getting more mileage than people expect out of them is to exploit dual attack to get an occasional attack where people thought they were safe. You can charge things you can't kill for the extra distance and weaken, then shoot out of melee to reel in to a second target to threaten a weaken freestrike, contest, or just kill an support model with the pow10 and be annoying behind enemy lines. I started doing this with Helga but it isn't bad with Jaga where S&P gives them a chance of hitting infantry. Unfortunately order of activations means you'll rely on their mat5/rat5 on feat turn to get them in position to explode though :/ Helga's other recent buff is the new witchdoc; pathfinder has always been a pain for her. She's always liked obstructions on the field for the extra damage dice on feat; now the ability to fly through them with cyclone/charges makes her assassination much more interesting. She still needs that feat die to be able to reliably assassinate even a 15/15 warcaster though... Someday I want to try a 2 caster game paired with a DOA list where she can access the paingiver task master; that one model fixes my main two problems with her.

They’re great for Barney2 so he has something to feat on. 6 of them for free is also quite sweet.

Okay, so I broke down and bought MM's last set this morning. Sadly I didn't make up my mind fast enough to get the two sets that I was wanting

In addition, 3 contesting solos at DEF 14 for 4pts have value, and they can get lucky, hit with the hook, engage, and cause order of activations issues. Getting hit with that debuff on a free strike would suck, gotta kill them first.

I used them as feat fodder for Jaga-Jaga in a game recently; Signs and Portents POW 11 boostable attacks will reliably kill enemy support solos and the Gobbers are fast enough to get to where they need to be.
Beyond that, they make for cheap and flexible fodder for your Swamp Gobber Chefs to cook up. They can contest / hold flags, I've also stalled a Gargantuan for a turn by surrounding it with 3 Gobbers. You can jam very effectively and cost your opponent clock time figuring out how to shift them.

Das sweet sweet Helga feat is the only place I ever ran them, they slowly fell out of the list unfortunatly, would love to see the crazy little blighters back on the field.
Outside the war scene though I have had great fun deploying them as enemies in the IK-rpg.
