Most of the story from either Minions sides is found starting in the Minions Forces Book (released Jan 2011 from memory), then continues in the Hordes side of the anthology books; Domination, Gargantuans, Exigence, Devastation. There is an additional 1 page short story regarding the Nature of the Beast theme force in a No Quarter, as well as some league fiction involving Rorsh being cooked and thinking he smells delicious.
As for what is currently going on in the fluff, I think everyone pretty much gave up trying to find out? I literally, honestly have no idea if they put out fluff anymore.

In addition to this, the newest No Quarter issue (No Quarter Prime #3) has a lot of info on the Blindwater Congregation.

I would also add the Iron Kingdoms Unleashed book as an additional supplement for story background, though that takes you out of the exclusive WMH world.

as well as some league fiction involving Rorsh being cooked and thinking he smells delicious. This is the greatest piece of fiction ever written by anyone at Privateer Press, and Brine is its standout star. The tents are hurting Rorsh! www.privateerevents.com/public/docs/rotterhorn_Story.pdfShould anyone not have read it.

I think Barnabas' Ascension was covered in the last Hordes book. TL;DR He got Carver to kill atop a mountain of corpses I think. The physical manifestation of the Devourer Wurm may or may not have been involved. I could be mixing up some events however.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. Maybe i get some of the old books cheap on ebay. In the new No Quarter... are there some informations about how Barnabas became a demi-god? Yep! There's a solid 40 pages or so of blindwater content in there, including two and a half of backstory most of which is summarizing his ascension. Also some phenomenal ideas for blindwater terrain and scenarios; an entire village map, some great art of a big temple, and special rules for blindwater-specific terrain like sacrificial altars that collect souls like sacral vaults, shrines to barnabas that inhibit healing, and rules for battlefield wide monsoons. I didn't expect much going in but was really pleasantly surprised; if you're only looking to buy one piece of fluff I'd recommend going with that.

That sounds like par for the course for the No Quarter Primes. Have you checked out the other issues? Each big theme release has been accompanied by a huge chunk of fluff, new scenarios, new terrain, and new art. Some of the scenarios are actually great fun and feel like a nice change of pace from Steamrollers, if you can wrangle an opponent (or three collaborators, in the case of my favourite scenario in NQP #2).

This was my first; bit the bullet since I wanted some more minions terrain ideas as well as the new llaelese fluff. If there's similar terrain inspiration for the northkin in #2 I'll probably end up getting that as well since that hooch hauler conversion was a blast to make

I preferred the terrain in NQP #1 to the Northkin terrain, but there are certainly cool ideas in both. I've been really enjoying the No Quarter Primes in general, they've been real quality products.

Got my copy of NQ Prime #3 and it is realy worth the money! One question... anyone has an idea which Warbeast meant with Barnabas first bonded Warbeast? It is named as "Dwarf Swamp Caiman". Could that be a spoiler for a upcomming Warbeast or was it mentioned before?

Also: Blindwater won't be due for new releases until approximately 2030.
