So with all the podcast spoilers coming up in the next week and the CID in april/may, I'm thinking we'll need a CG subforum soon... Shamelessly stealing a podcast recap from Nick Herting's post in the CG facebook group: and a CID preview for an artillery unit/ranged arm debuff...

Firetrucking MORE effects that only target living models? Will they ever stop shitting on hordes?

Firetrucking MORE effects that only target living models? Will they ever stop shitting on hordes? Crucible do seem like the sort of faction that would also have a ton of anti-construct effects as well with that focus on alchemy and the variable shot types on more than half the models we've seen so far. I agree with the sentiment generally though; there need to be more anti warjack specialist abilities like the devil dogs and thrullgs.

No new rules? Build an army with only 8 models? I might be in on this one.

Firetrucking MORE effects that only target living models? Will they ever stop shitting on hordes? Will people ever stop knee-jerking after seeing one model in an entire faction?!
I am sure they have plenty of nasty chemicals to screw over Constructs

Personally I love the idea of most of the models having various shot/grenade types, in a limited release faction it should allow for lots of flexibility.
Little bit deflated that they do not have some sort of unique mechanic, but I completely understand their rationale for it.
The biggest deciding factor for me will be the Rail-less Interceptor, I am assuming it is some sort of railway locomotive, with train wheels that just run on the ground. I am unsure how I feel about that aesthetic.

The spoiler in the OP specifically says "Can apply many stacking debuffs similar to Cryx & Mercs." and "Most models have multiple alchemical effects that can be applied for different tactical needs."
So duh, of course they have something that shits on living models. They will almost definitely have things that shit on constructs too. They probably can stack a big pile of shit depending on how they tailor their list to target certain types of models.

Problem is what affects living/undead spills over to warbeasts and constructs are mostly warjacks... creating a difference in the power of the model sporting that ability. I don't feel this is reflected in most models.

If only the two Will's mentioned 3 man alchemist units that were FA 3 and had grenades similar to Gormans, and maybe one of them is rust, or works on all constructs... I guess PP just hate hordes!

It can affect/effect (not sure) Living Warbeasts Affect is the verb, effect is the noun in this context: 'The weapon's effect affected the living warbeast.' 'effect' is also a verb with a different meaning (to cause/bring about), as in 'to effect change...'. We could combine them: 'Use the weapon's effect [noun] to effect [verb] the destruction of the living warbeast'. But that would be bad style. Now if only students could get their heads around all this.

I don't feel this is reflected in most models. Which may be why the value of ADR has been stressed. Players could sub out an anti-living model for an anti-construct model. But if ADR is the context in which PP see the mini-faction operating, it could make a big difference to its effectiveness in other types of play. We'll have to wait and see. Or we could just cry DOOOOOOM! This is the internet after all. There are more predictions of the end of all things online than during the entire fourteenth century.
