Ok, counter-point (all based upon my experiences, so you're results will vary. Fyi, so far I've player her in about 10-15 games as I've been exploring Grymkin).
-yes, Apparition is better on units. But Dark Menagerie wants at least a min unit of Dread Rots to provide bodies/scenario presence, so you still get that use.
-yes, small phantasm is good with Hollow Men. I will concede that.
-It's also a threat extender for warbeasts
-It also works well with crabbits, light jacks, and the unit of Dread Rots you take to provide bodies.
-Its crazy with anything (for example, arcing Enfeeble at Death Jack allows the Cage Rager to survive DJ's charge. I've done it, Cryx player was unhappy)
As for the corpse train, unless going into a gunline, I don't find body collection occurring quickly until the lines have already collided, at which point there is less need for an arc node. This has been the case every time I play bump, and is IMO the biggest weakness of bump.
So the only thing Dreamer does in Bump that she doesn't also do in DM is the small phantasm helping hollowmen, and All Fall Down being able to tag more of their list. In comparison, she provides Manifest Destiny, and solves a big problem with our beasts by having the tools to deliver (Artifice cranks DEF, Death Knell starting with corpses cranks ARM).
To get an idea of what I've been running (constantly tweaking still), I take:
Dreamer
Skin&Moan x2
Cage Rager x1
Rattler x2
Gorehound x1
Crabbit x2
Death Knell
max Dread Rots
Gremlin Swarm x4
Karianna Rose
That being said, if you find success with Dreamer in Bump, go for it. I just don't see it. I think anything she does for Bump, other casters do better, but no caster (with possible exception of Child) do DM better.
