I do own that list actually. I will definitely give that Bat-rep a watch and the list a try!

Has anyone tried the avatar with durst in faithful masses? Hollow avenger with hand of vengeance on it sounds dope.

Has anyone tried the avatar with durst in faithful masses? Hollow avenger with hand of vengeance on it sounds dope. I really want to but I have some issues with the avatar and durst. 1: Avatar does not benefit from the feat. This is a big deal as avatar really wants to be a front-line heavy and on feat turn he is actually the weak link of your jack line.. 2: He does not trigger bullwark. While not as big a deal on Avatar himself, it become problematic in faith-full masses as you have a limited number of jacks, and bullwark can be pretty relevant with our ashen veiled jacks in a decent number of games. 3: He takes away from your free points allowance. This is a big one for me, as it means you lose an important solo like the hierophant, or an idrian UA or the covenant. 20 points is a really high price to pay for a jack that doesn't give free points and has limited benefit from dursts support toolkit. I would consider taking Avatar in a CM durst build because he counts towards free solos and you are going over WJ points anyway in that build. He is arm 23 under decel and loves boundless charge. He really does not need HoV from FM to wreck things. The issue I have with durst in creators might is, he only can really run at best 3 jacks without support and 4 if you bring 2 vassals. In general I struggle building in creators might though, because I always feel it has a terrible scenario footprint as a theme and there are few ways in theme to mitigate that big weakness.

I didn't think feat and his other battle group abilities were that big of a deal for the avatar. I guess you can bring Idrians but that may be too much points with avatar in CM as well.

bskhackerIt’s just all the issues combined that make it a problem. Arm 23 under decel, no focus investment, and Boundless on it are all great. But in FM the cost is just too steep
