The grymkin warlocks are the 7 deadly sins...but some of them are not as obvious. Let’s get the obvious ones out of the way first. THE HERETIC: Pride. His fault was his pride in his own position, his strength is his pride in humanities power and potential. He’s even proud of his own name, he embraces it. THE KING OF NOTHING: Wrath. The King of Nothing doesn’t want anything other than to be left alone. He hates everything, and everyone. That much hate is obvious to everyone around him THE DREAMER: Sloth. This one is real obvious. She’s always asleep, always dreaming and imagining. Zevahna Aga. Gluttony. This one is more obscure, but it fits her since she’s portrayed as always hungry...not just that, she’s also symbolic of time, and time is the great devourer, it eats away everything and nothing outlasts time. The Wanderer: Lust. Because he has...wanderlust . That truly is his passion though. He loves going on a journey, he can literally forge his own path. He has a love for the undiscovered and unknown. Finally we get to, The Child: Greed. She wants what she wants. It’s a very childish deadly sin but all too common. She'll do anything to get what she wants. She doesn't care about rules or parents or anything like that, she's sees it all as getting in her way. That leaves, Envy. Does this mean there’s a new caster incoming or did I miss something? Anyone have their own theories?

SHE DESIRES THE POWER OF OTHERS AND WHEN SHE IS DENIED THE TITLE OF HIERARCH AND HARBINGER PUTS HER DOWN SHE WILL BETRAY THE CREATOR AND BECOME ANOTHER DEFIER. Now we just have to brainstorm her spells and abilities/arcana

It'd be unlikely for him to get upgraded. So I'd agree with that prediction. She does seem on a similar trajectory to the other defiers. There's a LOT of jealous warcasters out there in Caen though.

If we do get another defier I doubt it will happen for another two years minimum. Holden will probably happen sometime early next year I'd imagine and then the next release wouldn't be till the next Xmas cycle so strap in for a long wait, but assuming things are based off the sins (sort of challenging for me to get behind since heretic is VERY envious of Menoth's power, but also quite wrathful, and prideful.) Then Feora would make since as a tragic hero to fall due to a lust for power, though why she would defy against menoth and not just kreoss and others doesn't make much sense to me.

Interesting...
except that I would invert The Child and King of Nothing. The Child has a trump Arcana named "Wrath". When you break her toys, she get Outraged (another synonym of wrath), shen can even "enrage" (with abuse) her beast AND she even has a spell called "Tantrum" wich is another wrath synonym.
King of Nothing is Greed. Because you know... If he is greedy, we wants YOU to have nothing (this is a bit far fetched, but whatever, lol)

He's jealous of what everyone has so he wants to take it all away.

I'm not sure that is actually true though. In the book, and from how he was described during the reveal seminar at Smogcon, he just loathes everyone else, and wants to be left completely alone. He doesn't actually want anything else, and the book depicts him as leaving civilisation to find a place with no one around him where he finds a tree to sit on (with a bitter apple growing from it), and he is content that no one is near him, and it is perfectly silent.

I think Grymkin as a whole are supposed to represent the idea of deadly sinners, but not necessarily the defiers.
eg Hollowmen committed cowardice, not a 'deadly' sin per se, but punished for it. Witchwood is pretty clearly lust: pulling men to their deaths Piggybacks committed gluttony Dread rots are just mean people (not sure there is a sin for them explicitly, but we know they deserved it)
