The real question, rather than who wants an arc node, it should instead be who wants a Revenger over a Guardian. I would argue that 3eoss, Thyra, and maybe Reznik probably since they have single target buffs that would work better with a single heavy than a pair of lights. I think only very specific casters really want revengers. But even then the revenger has certain qualities a guardian does not. 1: medium base means it is easier to position for arcing a spell 2:+1 speed actually matters a lot on an arc node 3: You do not feel as bad about tossing it upfield since it offers little more than "arc spell be hard to remove" 4: for 5 points more you can take 2 revengers which act as contesting pieces and offer more threat vectors than a single guardian. For me if you need a heavy AND an arc node you take a guardian. If you just want an arc node and a contesting/scoring piece you take a revenger. at the end of the day the guardian is normally a better option, but the revenger does have merit in specific situations. I would say the following casters want 2: Testament: For the assassination threat. Durst: As durable and obnoxious contesting pieces Reznick 2: Because flesh is weak is amazing and being able to throw it out in multiple places is also amazing. Other than that taking 2 is very corner case. Taking 1 is a lot more reasonable with casters like thyra, and kreoss1, who have really solid nukes that they can throw out but you don't want to have to go all in to toss them around.

Also, just play multi-caster games. Lots of fun.

This also the deafult template which was brought to the WTC. Variations include a Dervish instead of a Devout for example.

200 is fine. Locally, we actually prefer 3 caster games to 2 caster games. 2 casters still makes the game too much about assassination. 3 means even if you lose a caster, being 2-3 you're still in the game. 3 casters at 200 ought to work. Set aside plenty of time. We recommend 3-4 hours.

because magnets and repenter/redeemer arms are cheap Hmmmm, but how do I avoid demolishing the current arms? Also drilling through pewter with my current tools is a pain. There's also the fact that, I tried this already with a Reckoner/Castigator. The metal Reckoner weapon is too heavy for my magnets to hold AND the arm design of the old models is different.
