Actually, I know the answer to that question (I bought them ) but the question is actually, what do I do with them? It doesn't feel to me like there are many Protectorate casters who really want one arc node, (not to mention two.) I figured I should ask the question though, since most of the theme forces don't let you take Blessing of Vengeance. What caster could use more than one arc node?

Severius is out since he likes Blessing. I would say Kreoss3 is your guy. He loves casting spells and swapping upkeeps and usually runs a highly mobile army (as is, I use a single Guardian in my lists). Having the arc nodes out there gets your spells where you want them. You could make a similar argument for Thyra.

Testamemt Threatening a spiritbomb assasination with the Revengers is pretty intimidating. When your opponent murders 10+ dudes there’s a good chance you can toss out 4 or more fully Boosted Dusts to Dusts into a caster. They also are pretty good contesting pieces as they are durable and have repulsor

Convert one into Blessing if you don't own him yet.

Amon lightspam thats not zillions of dervishes. They are durable and powerful charge helps start synergy.

Repulsor + feat + bullwark would make them really obnoxious to remove. This is a cool trick. Every warrior model b2b with Revenger effectively gains repel.

Be really good in a ranged theme like FM or in a theme like Guardians where you can grind on scenario and push people out of zones. You can effectively push an enemy model 4" in a single revenger activation with durst and boundless charge (or walking) hmmmmm

I usually see Durst with a bunch of heavies, but Durst and like 12 lights is really hard to get past, and with the Choir they can really do work.

If faithful masses had stayed the same in CiD it would be a really legit way of playing him. even devouts and revengers hit hard with HoV and Battle. Darn that Amon and synergy taking away cool things like HoV on lights lol

Convert one into Blessing if you don't own him yet. I've thought about this (I bought one of them 2nd hand and it's already got a small conversion on the spear point, doesn't feel 'legal' though since PP is adamant about the model being the model it is, and BoV has his own full kit, he's not just a shield and head. He's a full light jack) Thanks for all the help and tips though. I think I'll give them a shot with Thyra. I can see the arguments for taking them with Amon, but I'd rather have Devouts TBH. Same armor with shield guard. Repel is a cool ability that I need to use more often. Now if only I could stop calling them 'Lancers'

I have a hard time reconciling the 10 point cost of a Revenger against the 7 point cost of a Dervish.
And in lists where I want an arcnode I prefer Blessing and/or a Guardian instead.

I can't ever imagine a list where I would take two Revengers
Currently, the only lists they've made it into are my Malekus list (potential for the Scourge, feat, pop and drop assassination) and Reznik 1 (for Brand of Heresy) and Kreoss 3 (Crevasse and Force Hammer)
And that is mostly because I do not own a Guardian yet
Although, since Eye of Truth came out I have dropped it from my Malekus list
Any Severius 1 or 2 list I take Blessing of Salvation
I think that is the biggest competition for the Revenger. Between Blessing of Vengeance, Eye of Truth and a Guardian, there is not much need for a light arc node. Maybe if it was cheaper
I could see the case for Amon light jack spam, but then again, I'd rather take a Devout or Dervish

I've used 2 Revengers with Reznik1 before to pretty solid success. It was all about having two vectors for Brand of Hersey to come from. Also Ignite + Brand makes them hit hard as well.

The truth of the matter is dervishes are probably a point undercosted. For 7 points you get: 1: parry 2: Side step 3:Combo Strike 4: decent defensive statline for a light 5: good pow weapons with 1" range 6: mat 7 which is a big deal compare to most our other lights and you can see some discrepancies. Currently there are very few examples of where you would want multiple of our other lights in the same way people take multiples of dervishes. I actually think all out lights are good and the purifier would be better if his weapons just did auto fire instead of crit fire. or had side step instead of overtake. If HoV had been allowed to work on lights you would see all out lights a lot on FM. I am pretty sad that my repenter spam idea with malekus where all the repenters become mini reckoners with HoV and battle will never see the light of day again :,(
