Well, I haven't actually gotten a game in with him yet (or for that matter gotten a game in at all for, oh, about a year now), but at least he's finally painted and ready to go. Oh, and also: he lights up. Which is old news now, seeing as Endless-Wanderer and Ramolis did it before me (and arguably did it better... damn, but Ramolis has an amazing Cygnar army!). I apologize for cross-posting from the painting forum, but the Warmahordes painting forums (both here and on the old, inferior forums) are very quite these days and not many people seem to be commenting on them. You can see a bunch more (larger) photos, including tons of WIPs, on my blog post.

Looks really good, nice to see some good wholesome hobbying rather than just endless arguing on the forums

Looks really good, nice to see some good wholesome hobbying rather than just endless arguing on the forums Thank you. Do you by any chance visit the painting and hobby forums on this site ("Paint the town midnight" and "Island of miscast toys")? As I said before they are a bit quiet, but there are people posting some nice work there.

Gorgerous! I love it! Did you cast the electro coils in semi-transparent resin to make them?
The painting is also extremely smooth and clean
I would love to see more of your "real electricity" models in Cygnar!
Also, while I love Ramolis work, expecially since he did it on multiple models, I think that the quality of the execution (both on the sculpting and in the painting side) is better on your part, so if you keep up you will have nothing to envy from him.

Thanks again! Speaking of Ramolis, have you seen his Haley 2? Oh.Em.Gee. I'm hoping to light up a Stormclad's sword someday (again, something Ramolis has already done... damn his awesome skills), but I promised myself I would finish Ruin and Behemoth (a particularly demanding conversion that I have been putting off for at least FOUR YEARS now) before anything else. Also I have a Freebooter with a glowing face I need to paint (he shall be named Thomas Zane, if anyone gets the reference). Oh, and a heavily-converted VF-1 from the ill-fated Robotech kickstarter that I'm starting to want to see painted. Sigh. This is why I don't have any painted armies: I have some sort of project-ADHD or something. I come up with new ideas and accumulate new projects WAY faster than I finish the ones I already have queued up.

Thanks again! Speaking of Ramolis, have you seen his Haley 2? Oh.Em.Gee. It's absolutely cool, but don't discount your work. In the end he just recasted the cloak (a separate piece of the original model) and lit the base, not a thing that is more difficult than what you did with a metal model like Nemo (Drilling inside it to reach the backpack sounds like a nightmare), expecially since you carved the coils yourself instead of casting them. Your paintjob is also quite on a totally other level of quality (I like his freehands, but the painting in general isn't as good as yours) That is not to dismiss Ramolis work. I wish I had the skill to work with electronics like he does, and I think it was fenomenal from him to take the time to lit a whole army, an impressive feat that likely looks gorgerous on the field, but single model versus single model, I like your Nemo1 more.

Oh, I'm very proud of my work, make no mistake. It wasn't my intention to compare my work to others, I just brought them up because I'm a fan of their work.
