I think the issue is that the pose is more of a "saint dying for our sins" one than a "this sinner is being punished" one, but the lack of clothing doesn't fit with the saintly image. If she was more "piously" dressed then I think the model would work better in context.

Holy moly! That detail had me studying the model for several minutes just to take it all in. Plenty of devotion on display here!
As far as piety on the shoulder lady, I imagine a well-placed sash across her chest may be enough... but requesting even more detail on top of this is blasphemous.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the feedback. I understand the shoulder lady wasn't the best idea and to everyone's likes. I'll consider that better next time. Good news is I got another colossal kit with the mystery box. So now I get to do it all over again. Yay....... I'm going to have to sit down and think about my next conversion project a little bit. Also the smoke stavks chipped and I have to fix them.

Hello guys. Small update today. I've been busy with work. I wanted to make the lucky monks look like they were kicking up sand

It's a pair of Earthbenders!
Seriously though, that's an interesting and very creative idea. I think it works better on the one on the right, where you've incorporated a twisting motion into the sand: it feels more natural. I wonder if it would look more like sand being kicked up if it wasn't so smooth-sided? Like, it had more of a "jaggy explosion from the ground" look? Regardless, they look good and they are very unique!

The side kick looks Ehhh. This is my first time doing this so I honestly didn't know how it would look. I cut up a blister pack and bent it into shape then glued sand all over it. In a perfect world I would have 3d printed my supports. But sometimes you want speed over quality.

But sometimes you want speed over quality. in a perfect world I would've modified the second guy's foot to be straight and changed his arm to look like he's balancing out the high kick, that way it'd look completely natural. That's only really worth it if you're the kind of freak that enjoy converting metal models, though.

Very cool work man. The sand effect is very inventive.

Hello all sorry I have not posted in a year. But I was working on a "Collosal" project. This is the third time I've tried to post this So you don't get any witty comments. Just look at the model. Below is an effigy of the first female minute saint. The sculptor was wracked for impropriety. Banner dedicated to heirarch sulon. And a piece of the First Wall to power the whole thing with artifact energy. The worship is real.
