I got kicked pretty hard last night running mac2 clearly I still do not understand how the list should run. Doesn't look like I will be able to be much help here unless you want to run a naaresh list with conflictchamber.com/#b91b6P6r6U4D5D6A6wea5G5V5SThis is different than mine but I think it will leverage the strengths I have seen in my list. Good luck to you Spid3r I look forward to hearing how things go.

gun lines don't work that well with skorne. our main range unit is only sub-par, especially if you aren't running Xerxis1. We do have the Cyclops Raider now, but he only benefits the Cyclops Shaman and Mordikaar. Skorne really is an "In-your-face" type of faction, which can be quite similar to a lot of menoth lists. You make a wall to protect your main force, then jam with something cheap. Once they are jammed, you get in their face and all out maul. I do have a stampeding list with Xerxis2 that has been semi-successful, but when you play against the nation's rank 2 team on a weekly basis, playing skorne is a whole world of butt hurt x.x;
Xerxis2 Bronzeback Gladiator Gladiator Cannoneer Sentry Shaman beast handlers (max) beast handlers (max)

privateerpress.com/hordes/gallery/starter-products/all-in-one-army-boxes/hordes-all-in-one-army-box-skorne-2017Are you thinking of the old all in one? The new one is: • Warlock Archdomina Makeda • Titan Gladiator Heavy Warbeast • Titan Sentry Heavy Warbeast • Basilisk Krea Light Warbeast • Praetorian Swordsman Unit (10) • Praetorian Swordsman Officer & Standard Command Attachment • Praetorian Karax Unit (10) • Praetorian Karax Officer & Standard Command Attachment • Paingiver Beast Handlers Unit (4) • Orin Midwinter, Rogue Inquisitor Solo (Minion) Both of the titans and the swordsman are multikits (swordsman are also Keltarii). Painting them can be tough, but IMHO the all in one is actually a good starting point. Beast handlers are in a lot of lists (usually min but still there), swordsman with UA are really good, I'vebeen told the karax with UA aren't that good, but with shieldwall and the minifeat going on you can hit arm 22 for a turn without any outside help, and that is nice. I havent put orin on the table yet but I can see where he might be really helpful for a skorne list, helping ignore a lot of spell attacks. I think karax are very good, the ua not so much. The primary job of karax is to die so your other stuff does not. They do this very well, they are just hard enough to kill that your opponent has to dedicate something important to kill them and not so hard that they are avoided.

Karax are also great for nullifying AoE affects. Giving Girded to everything that touches them makes it much easier for the more munchy Skorne units like bloodrunners, swordsmen, and beasthandlers to actually survive to fight on the front lines.

I've only actually used them in one game, I just really like that 7pt armor swing for a turn and bumping them up to needing heavy jack killing weapons.

Your front line should be a combo of swordsmen + UA and Karax (blast damage immune, pathfinder, with vengeance swordsmen ). Include 1 or 2 full kitty units with Rhadiem to jump over sacrificial walls and take on the meat of the army. Kitties are easy to rez as well, making them a great target for her stay death. Your beasts should include Molik Karn (Molik Missile), Gladiator (rush), a Cyclops Savage (Future Sight), and the normal support. That's just a bare bone "include if you can" list. With her feat, high defensive units like in Circle or Cygnar will get munched. Try to pull off the Molik Missile if you can and remember to cast Future Sight on your other big hitters, or even Mak2 herself if you can.

The only model in the army that can really make use of it is the gladiator as Molik and the Cyclops already have it and other then the caster (which probably shouldn't be in melee) nothing else in the army has the ability to boost.

On topic, the new All-in-One with Makeda1 is incredibly good value and everything in it is extremely useful including the caster herself. There isn't a single dud filler in there. The weakest part of the box is the Karax CA itself, however Max Karax, or min Karax+CA cost the same giving some useful interactions in many lists, and a max Karax+CA is also useful in the right setting, if not as popular as the other 2 items.
I don't think I've played a single game in MkIII without at least min Karax in it so far.

I was talking about Mak2 lists in general, not a specified list. I also mentioned that they were simply things that work well in her general lists. Put future sight on an Aradus Soldier, Bronzeback Titan, or even our Hydra. My goal was not to limit list building, but to give a starting spot for Mak2 lists.

Fair but I still wouldn't include the Savage in that list regardless but I rank future sight as a pretty bad animus considering what its attached to personally. Decent when the model has it natively though.
