Aegis: ah, OSL means Object Source Light. Thank's for enlighten me . I saw great examples in the net for this. Perhaps I give it a try at the next oportunity. I have to say, that I never thought about this, so this is a good idea from you . @soul Samurai: thank's . Perhaps I should add some white to the hot areas . But after the flames is for the flames, is'nt it? . Finished the build process of my flamebringers. Priming next, and then fresh paint :-). Quite dusty here, is'nt it? Well, there was not much motivation to paint the Flame Bringers, ok, there was not much motivation to paint anything at all, but when I received a Judicator/Relevator kit from my wife, I build it, and started to paint it. Not fnished jet, well, yes, it is, but I managed to let the heads and breastweapons without paint till now. Everything is magnetized, so I can swap between Judicator and Relevator in a hurry. I think, this should be gaming legal... *g* And here are the pictures:

He looks great so far! The more I see your work the more I like your use of blacklining.
One small thing is that the model has decorative patterns in the gold areas that are currently looking a little bit flat in the photos, a little more contrast in the gold might look a bit better.

Striking stuff! Classic protectorate. I especially like the character 'jacks and colossals. The hard black-lining for separation is bold. (I tend to use brown and black inks in the recesses but that's just a personal preference thing.)
Well done - from magnets to painting, man!

@soul Samurai: thank's a lot for cour comment! You realy have an eye for the things, where you can make good performance in painting with a relativ small amount of work! That's great! Thank's again! I don't wand to excuse the laizyness on my side, buuut *g*, this thing is realy huge, and has a lot of big flat areas. Because I'm not the freehand guru to fill those areas, my goal was to make good flat areas, read, I tried my best for shading and blending my mail colours. For a model this size this is quite a task, because I have no airbrush. And make it a way only with a normal brush, that the big areas look decent to good, was not so easy for me. And it eats a ton of work and time, even though one can't see much of this. This is because of the size. In the end, painting wise, this is a boring bodell, if someone like me likes to paint all the small details. And I failed to let the armour details look good. Funny, well, yes, that's just because I loost the motivation underway, see, big modell and so.. eathotlead: Thank you very much for your motivation, allwas apreciated and helpfull to continue the 'work'

@soul Samurai: Thank you! This is my favorite Jack, from a painting point of view, and IMO my best work untill now . nyarlathotep333: Thank you too! Very good motivation for the next models . I finished the two heads and the four breast weapons. Call it finished now, until I do what Soul Samurai suggested for this one :-)). Perhaps the next battle I will field for the very first time a Titan

Great work. I love that second head btw; the eye/glow looks suitably menacing.

He looks good. One suggestion I have is to highlight the crossbow-blades a bit more aggressively; right now they look a bit flat and not very sharp.

@soul Samuari: good suggestion! I did this, and it brings the blades in shapte to the rest! Thank's for good eye :-). Finished the Flamebringers. Loose motivation during painting the ponys. Perhaps someday they will get some more attention, but for now they are battle ready . And at last a closeup from the girl to follow

I like the black-and-white ones, but yeah, generally the ponies look a bit flat. I reckon some Army Painter Quickshade varnish would be a quick and easy way of adding some effective shading - I think it works quite well for stuff like this. Otherwise they look good. Maybe adding a bit of colour to the ladies' lips might be worth trying? The face in that last photo looks a touch funny as her lips are clearly large, yet the same colour as her skin. I've found that a good recipe for lips is mixing a dark red with a pale skin colour: you end up with a light pink that looks good next to the skin (while a pure pink will not). If you use a light red you end up with something too light or not fleshy enough.
