I have very little to base this on....and I really am just Loren curious as to what others think about it but what about using a Lys healer for the immunity to knockdown to help protect her or is the fragility justness too much that knockdown or not if she is targetted she isn't going down?

Mine usually stays hidden behind Hype. While Admonition is usually on her Chimera, it can be used to keep Issyria safe when the enemy gets closer.

I find myself too tight on point for the Lys Healer usually. I can see it being a good idea, but if you are behind Hyperion, you are usually pretty safe. Arcane Assist has a pretty recent video battle report featuring Issyria where it shows how easy it is to kill Issyria if you get a little greedy. I have decided to never commit Issyria unless my opponent has absolutly no way of getting to her. Otherwise, she stays hidden behind Hype's big butt!

Update - I tried a similar list for the first time and ha s the game Well in hand... until I stepped out from behind Hyperion to score a flag.
Then a knockdown renegade rocket and two mortars ended me real quick. Sigh.

Sometimes you have to touch the stove to learn the lesson.

Yeah from what I've learned is issy doesn't leave hyperions backside unless you're afraid of e-leaps. Doesn't matter how far ahead you are lol.

What about Issyria on Forges of war ?
I need to test this list:
Issyria Sylys - free Hyperion Chimera Phoenix Manticore Manticore
Battle mages Artificer - free Arcanist - free Arcanist Arcanist
Shield guard on the battlegroup and no blast with artificer help her to survive. Battle mages are decent with her on feat turn.
This is only theorymachine though.

Personally I would probably not play issy without at least one unit of sentinels.

A unit like the Sentinels is really good because as long as you can keep some of them in reserve, you'll have some punch. You also need something to deal with whatever can deal with your Hyperion and Sentinels or Halberdiers are great at doing that. I'm not saying it's impossible, but the benefits aren't that good. Issyria can often use Blinding Light on whatever is going to shoot you, making Shield Guard less relevant. Still a good bonus though. Last but not least, you'll lack Pathfinder outside of Issyria herlsef, the Hyperion and the Artificier. Test it for yourself!

Lessons of issyria #2. Hyperion doesn't save you from sprays. Mountain King killshot spray easily finished her off after a bit of chip,in damage from a drifting bomber earlier.
This goes along with lesson #3 - admonition goes on the chimera.
