So I've been hearing a lot of talk about issy with double sents and have been trying to work out a list. This is what I've come up with so far, feel free to tear it apart.
War Room Army
Retribution of Scyrah - New Army

Issyria, Sibyl of Dawn - WJ: +29 - Hyperion - PC: 36 (Battlegroup Points Used: 29) - Phoenix - PC: 18
Arcanist Mechanik - PC: 2 Arcanist Mechanik - PC: 2 Arcanist Mechanik - PC: 2
Dawnguard Sentinels - Leader & 9 Grunts: 18 - Dawnguard Sentinel Officer & Standard - Officer & Standard: 4 Dawnguard Sentinels - Leader & 9 Grunts: 18 - Dawnguard Sentinel Officer & Standard - Officer & Standard: 4

In my opinion, Issy really, really wants a chimera. I tried her with a Phoenix as my only Arcnode, but I always sorely miss a throwaway node for blinding light.

That's a pretty solid list. No need to really change it but I would maybe try double Chimera instead of the Phoenix. You already have enough hitting power in the Sents and Hype so being able to throw away an Arc node for early Blinding Light to prevent your army from getting shot off the table would be cool.

Yeah that seems good too. Could add a soulless to both groups of sentinels as well.

If you want to play double Chimera, I would consider cutting one Arcanist and adding a Scyir. I find Tactician a nice help for double Sentinel positioning.
You could also play one Chimera and an Aspis (Shield Guard always helps) and a Scyir.

I have played Issyria a lot recently, never the double infantry module though. I run her with a Chimera and Hyperion, Elara1 with Discordia, Sentinels, Electromancers and some support. In both cases, the principle remains the same. Take care of whatever could possibly deal with Hyperion first, then have your colossal bully the table. Since Issyria doesn't have any late game power, you want to keep Hyperion alive.

I was also considering sentinels and invictors instead of double sentinels.

I started with invictors amd sentinels. I have since moved to mhsf and Sentinels. I pair her with vyros and he takes most hordes match ups. Mhsf seem to get more work done since issy sees a lot of war machine and this magic guns help into some of the incorporal spam. The list I like is
Issy Chimera Hyperion Arcanist Sentinels and UA Mhsf and commander (eyriss 3 is better most of the time but is 2 more pts) 2 heavy rifle teams Electromancers

Yup they're blessed my bad for some reason I looked and swore that was magical. I like that list into some Cygnar but depending on if incorporeal spam picks up I will be swapping out rifle teams for a second unit of electros.

Be aware that electroleaps are not magical attacks.

When playing Issyria with Hyperion, does she stay glued to his ass the whole game?

If your opponent has some ranged attacks, yes that is a good idea to hug hyperion. She is so fragile!
Just be careful with electroleaps ;-)

I'm going to start playing her soon with a list a lot like these, but I can't figure out how to keep her alive - she seems very shootable.
Hyperion seems like the best defence she might have.
