Thanks, I am really happy with how it came out, even if I have no idea how to do it again because I painted in a tired blur and closed my reference pictures.

Thanks, I am really happy with how it came out, even if I have no idea how to do it again because I painted in a tired blur and closed my reference pictures. Look up wet blending and/or two brush blending tutorials on youtube and it will come back to you. My problem has more to do with the 10 or so reds, oranges, yellows, and bluish tans I used and no idea what order I did besides a wash of red ink over the red parts, yellow ink over the yellow bits, drybrush of daemonic yellow over the belly part and limbs, and underbelly blue to brink out shadows. But the fact that its a metal model and the drake is too means I can test it out on the drake and write it down, strip the krea, clean the mold lines I missed, and repaint later after I am better at the techniques I am using her as a testbed for. But I will look up some wet blending tutorials as I work on my titan skin technique

I've started working on my Cryx after a hiatus and I've had the exact same problem. For some reason I didn't note down the colour recipies I originally used and now I'm re-inventing the (colour) wheel so to speak. Lesson learned.

Most days I have luck putting the pots in order off to the side in order until I pause long enough to write them down or type them into my computer/phone. I have a notebook to write them down in eventually but sometimes I forget or use paints over a few times. And I have a messy desk... and well...
