So I am sure that you all have had games where you simply want to throw a bunch of cool models together that you otherwise haven't had a reason to play just to get some table time with them. Well a couple weeks ago I was playing around with ways to get my favorite caster Garryth onto the table as well as some other rarely used models and this is what I came up with. Before we get into the list and why I think it is good I want to throw out a qualification when I say good I don't mean that its going to be taking the world by storm or that people will be teching against it but that it can hold its own and currently I am having a blast with it. (Im currently 4-1 with it)

Why this army doesn't just suck:

I probably wouldn't suggest trying this unless your looking for something to shake up your game night and confuse your opponents with a ragtag band of models that do surprisingly well.

Why this army doesn't just suck:
- Garryth has the support he needs to play super far up the board keeping their caster far back and giving you a lot of board real-estate.
- Imperatus is a monster, I often have him take 2+ heavies on his own between getting the alpha and garryth's feat to cripple any counter punch
- Skarath is an accurate ranged beast that can go into melee if really needed and does a wonderful job holding down a flank
- The high defense and the lack of boosts on feat turn mean spears and strike force make a powerful jam.
Why this army does just suck:
- Hordes. Your biggest defense is your feat turn which is basically useless into hordes.
- Expensive models. This army is primarily specialists and character models so a poor positioning mistake can cost you the game.
- Ghost Fleet. Very limited RFP means that the sheer number of models just wears you out on scenario while keeping their caster safe from Garryth's aggression.
