Very dramatic! I like it! Simple but effective. I like the colour of the glow, exactly what paint are you using?
Highlighting the black a little bit might make it look a bit better as the forms would be clearer, but you might lose the whole "shadow" effect, so I'm not sure if it would be an improvement or not overall. Have you tried it?

The color is PP's green ink on top of white. My phone's camera made it comes out more blue than in real life.
I haven't tried any highlights yet. Might give it a shot though. I'm also not sure what I want to do with the blades in the shields, if anything.

It seems more Tron, then Borg, honestly.

It is rather Tron. Weird I hadn't noticed that myself. I'm thinking about doing the bases with a kinda lighting disk thing like the Borg alcoves. That should help the look. It's only a loose inspiration anyways.

It looks good as a stand-alone color scheme, but to represent Borg you really need some white skin.

Speaking of stuff it reminds us of, have you ever seen Attack the Block? Great little movie (though I might be biased as my old company did some work for it) with characters that share a similarity to your work... (Fun film, but try to get it with subtitles if you don't speak "Bri'ish"...)Damn, now I want to paint a Warpwolf to look like that... and I don't even LIKE warpwolves... If you're going to add some highlighting, consider highlighting in a darker shade of the glow colour, and applying it brighter on edges/surfaces near the glow, then darker everywhere else. Dunno how it would look, but in my mind it sound like it might help sell the glow effect.

I have seen Attack The Block good movie. I wonder if my roomie will let me "borrow" one of his warpwolves. Thanks for the advice about the highlights. I'd been trying to think of how to make them pop. That's a good idea.
I dislike the lack of pale flesh also. The convergence doesn't have much though. I've been trying to figure out how to maybe make that work on the small based infantry.

I've been trying to figure out how to maybe make that work on the small based infantry. Sounds like you'd need some kitbashing to get that to work - some headswaps perhaps.

Head swapping will probably be the way to go.
Just ordered a bottle of Black 2.0 and ebayed a metal feral warpwolf. We're going to see this Attack the Block wolf happen.

I'm looking forwards to seeing the end result. Hmm, I wonder if sculpting fur over the eyes would look good?

My suggestion to make them more borgy is to use a metallic black instead of straight black on the metal bits. A more neon green color instead of the blue . Maybe instead of white undeneath put like a light green or green white mix. And make the eye red. Almost all borg have like a red laser on the side of their head.

The blue is actually rather green in person. It's just white with PP's green ink. My Camera made it blue. I have some old Citadel Tin Bitz. That might work as a metal. I'm also thinking oh getting some Drak grey in there for the bodysuit the Borg actors wore under the other stuff.

The Black 2.0 should eat most of the shadows and leave the body looking like a black void with glowing teeth, eyes, and claws. Probably do the bone spurs in a glow also.

Vallejo makes a paint additive that has metallic silver flakes in a binder. It really works well for lightning a color and giving a nice metallic sheen depending on how much you use in relation to the host paint. Vallejo also makes a black metal in their model air line. Both of these work well and are some of my favorite paints.
