So Battle Boxes are done and I am working on some terrain and a basic 3x3 board to use to start learning the game with. Current paint goals are to get the 'faction defining' models done for Legion and Trollblood with the eventual goal of expanding armies to 15 points next. I don't have much in the way of Circle so for now I'm focusing on Trolls and Legion until I can figure out where I want to take Circle...it's not a main faction, but I'll probably build towards one army with Tanith.
*EDITED 10/16/20* Updated with a few more models I've painted...more to come, I'm still working through some issues with my camera taking crappy pictures.

Looking great so far! The shading and highlighting of the musculature is very well done, and I love the enameled look of the armour, it's interesting and gives a sense of depth.

Solid technique! One suggestion, if you're looking, would be to tone the gums of the models back from bloody red towards a pink-ish tone. Looking good!

Thanks everone!
@ Soul Samurai The armor was intended to look like green marble. It was a lot harder to do at that size though - I have used the technique in the past to create statues for our RPG campaigns to great effect though. I am not unhappy with the result I got with the armor, but there are a few spots where I don't think the effect worked as well.
@ GreatBigTree Yeah, the red is pretty bright looking...I have been trying to get more contrast in my painting to make things 'pop' more in the details. I think that I will tone that down more in the future though, that's definitely a good suggestion.
*Edit* I also just noticed thst Ragnor has a spot of green paint on his knuckles that doesn't belong. I will try and get that corrected before I take any new photos.

Marble is hard to do, I've tried it myself and was not able to get it to look very good.

I hear you on the getting things to pop. I've been trying that too, and it's a tricky line to "pop" without "booming", so to speak.

The best way to pop in my opinion is to just use antagonistic colors right next to each other.

I finally finished up a few more. Here's Kryssa and the Troll Bouncer: Bouncer: Kryssa:

Looks good, I love the colour combinations on Kryssa, and you have an interesting effect going on with her blade.
The bouncer looks good, though his eyes are a bit... cartoony? I like how you did the rust effect on the armour, but there's a few spots where you've used the rust colour in grooves where a darker was probably would have looked better (I'm thinking about the big screw heads on the shoulder plates).

Thanks!
Yeah, eyes have always been tricky for me. I think that maybe I should have used a blue instead of the black around them...that might have helped.
I was actually trying for a glowing effect on Kryssa's spear, but it didn't turn out quite like I had hoped. I've considered going back with some light blue and white and trying to make it look like it is made of ice, but I also don't mind too much how it looks currently so I suspect that I'd risk having it turn out worse if I tried.

Eyes are tricky for everyone! I've never tried to paint eyes on anything bigger than a 35mm human, so I have no idea what you could have done differently. Plus it's very dependant on the model's topography.

Oh jeah, marble, I also can't paint it . If you find the holy grail of how to do it, let us all know . Love Kryssa, but I think you should give Legion still a little bit more priority. You know, if the wife is happy, you are too ;-). I have alos Legion as my second faction. Ok, this just means, that I have the army box layin' around, and if I fell my protectorate need a break, I will start with it. At the meantime I hope for more inspiration from your work! Especially your muscle/skin-work is inspiring .

For green marble, this is the tutorial that I had used in the past (though on much larger surfaces): hot-lead.org/advance/texturing_marble.htm. There's a bunch of great tutorials out there for lighter colored marble though...a few that I saw just now that I'm going to have to try at some point. Also, Legion isn't forgotten! I'm almost done with the Bolt Thrower. For some reason, Legion beasts are my painter's block right now. I just can't seem to make them look like the do in my head.

Here's the Bolt Thrower I finished up last night. I'm not 100% satisfied with the result for some reason...also, this guy has suffered some abuse! I've dropped the mini twice while painting it - both times it's gone off the table. The first time I broke the front part of the crossbow, the second time one of his 'wings' broke off and snapped in two. The photos turned out OK, except the snow is washed out a lot...it isn't that bright in hand. Shredders (x2) should be up soon. Those are coming along good as well as the Impaler. For now, here's the Bolt Thrower:
