Yesterdays CID update:
Eminent Configurator Orion: Orion will be receiving a Dev Talk tomorrow (8/29) to talk about the inclusion of a variable MAT and RAT. We can also discuss him more in depth then. Be ready!

claptrap : Yes, Lucant had Shield Guard in mk2. Mostly used to save the Corollary or an Enigma Foundry in my experience. Or to soak up a shot from Taryn

Today's Dev Talk gives Orion base MAT5 and RAT 5. He chooses to give himself (and thus his battlegroup) either +2 MAT or +2 RAT at the beginning of his own activation each turn.

Wow, that is pretty nice! But I guess he has to active first every turn in order to get this benefit? Meaning Vectors before him only have 5/5..
Anything about a release date yet?

It actually specifies his activations as the start/end times, not turn activation. So you COULD make him go first, or you could T1 him as ranged, move your stuff, then T2 move your ranged jacks before him, activate him, then switch to melee and run your jacks up to do their business. Then T3 activate melee jacks first, etc.

Sorry, not sure I understand what you mean. The Vectors are allways either 5/7 or 7/5? Depending on when you activate Orion. If that is the case, then I am excited

Is it me or does this sort of replace Mother's MAT/RAT 8 for a turn?

It does to some extent but then I don't take mother for her feat i take her for her spells domination backlash and fire group...that's the way ya have to look at it...to be honest I've never thought much of mothers feat....pp seem to be giving Orion some game into melee in case yer ranged game is denied...

Does anyone know if Spellpiercer (aka Blessed weapons) ignores the Troll Krielstone ARM buff?

Does anyone know if Spellpiercer (aka Blessed weapons) ignores the Troll Krielstone ARM buff? No it does not. It's not a spell so blessed doesn't ignore it. You can try to magic bullet the krielstone off the board though. They can't use self sacrifice because the magic bullet bounce isn't from an attack, it's just a damage roll.

hmm, unboostable POW 12 doesn't seem like enough to try and kill an ARM 18/19 Kriestone bearer, don't they also have 5 boxes?

Nevermind they have base arm 13, +2 for the aura and +1 for each fury.. my troll buddy usually has at least 1-3 on them. So that means pow 12 vs arm 15-18? Does this bypass tough?
