Please note : this is WEEK 1 of the CID. These rules are very likely/will change.
Discussion panel is open;
Theme includes;
• Protectorate warcasters
• Non-character warjacks
• Deliverer models/units
• Idrian models/units
• Paladin models/units
• Reclaimer models/solos
• Vassal models/units
• Zealot models/units
• Choir of Menoth units
• Allegiant of the Order of the Fist solos
• Hierophant solos
• Initiate Tristan Durant
• Wrack solos
Theme benefits include;
This army can also include one Mercenary solo and one Mercenary unit that will work for the
Protectorate. These models/units can be included even if they have the Partisan [Protectorate]
special rule. Mercenary units in this army can include attachments.
• For every full 20 points of units in this army, you can add one Protectorate weapon crew unit,
Protectorate command attachment, or small- or medium-based solo to the army free of cost.
Free models do not count toward the total point value of units in the army when calculating this
bonus.
• Warjacks in this army gain Hand of Vengeance. (When one or more friendly Faction warrior
models are destroyed or removed from play by enemy attacks while within 5” of a model with
Hand of Vengeance, the model with Hand of Vengeance gains +2 on melee attack and melee
damage rolls for one round.)
• Before models are deployed at the start of the game, you can place one wall template anywhere
completely within 20˝ of the rear table edge of your deployment zone. The template cannot be
placed within 3˝ of a hill, obstacle, or obstruction. The template is an obstacle that grants cover.
Edit, some proposed changes to deliverers;
1) Skyhammer POW 10, gains Arcing Fire
2) Gain Rocket Volley (If 3 or more models participate in a combined ranged attack, the size of the AOE is increased to 4. If 5 or more
models participate in a combined ranged attack, the size of the AOE is increased to 5.)
And to Holy Zealots;
1) RAT increase to 5

Theme update 28/8/17
Unit update
Holy Zealots: We hope to further incentivize players to bring Zealots with a slightly reduced point cost bringing them in line with other options.
Cost 7/12
Theme update
The Faithful Masses: Allowing Paladin models to generate free points will really open up the list building options for this theme.
Thoughts on the change
It's a really nice change to be able to count paladin solos towards free points. Incentivising their inclusion is the best way to get them on the table, and was suggested both in this thread and on the CID forums by different users. The drop in points for the Holy Zealots is good, but unfortunately doesn't quite address my personal concern with them on their effectiveness on the field. However, this is just my gut reaction. Being that little bit cheaper might swing it for list building (everyone needs a wrack after all).
