I am still waiting on an Amazon order that has a few more electronics. I am almost ready to get started, I just need to figure out the dimensions now and find the time.
I think my mirror film isn't self adhesive but I figured I would use spray adhesive to paste it to some thin plastic.

Sure thing, I've used Elmer's brand with success for various projects ( elmers.com/product/detail/e451 but I think there are a few different brands out there. I have picked mine up from both Office Max and Fred Meyers stores in the past. It's pretty useful stuff for applying to anything that comes in a 'sheet' since it is a spray it won't leave lumps or uneven spots like glue applied by hand.
