Basically the same thing:

Can always flip between Swordsmen and Halberdiers, toss in Disco, etc.

It would be neat to see you play something like this on the advanced maneuvers channel. Maybe help out with the lack of Rahn hype?

Rahn in Forges is a viable pair for Issyria in Shadows. Just have to use Rahn in the right match ups. Issyria in Shadows is a huge middle finger to most of Warmachine, Rahn can take care of a ot of the problematic match ups.

Rahn might work well in defenders with an AFG or 2 plus a couple of banshees and or harpies. Pushing stuff away then dropping rough terrain on it is sexy.

I played Rahn into Ghost Fleet at a tournament earlier this year and lost horribly. However, I was playtesting Forges of War with a Helios. In retrospect, I think Rahn has more game with Hyperion (more anti-infantry and crit RFP). With double Battle Mages the list has enough magic attacks to annoy Incorporeal models. I think Issyria is still better, mind you, all I am saying is that it is nothing like an auto-loss to play Rahn into Cryx.

Adeptis Rahn of House Shyeel would not be caught dead running such lopsided Vyre abominations... Or that's what I think he would say, hehe. I like the fluff too much I guess.
