I didn't set it up.
And thanks, I nicked it off the web. It's a picture of Butcher and a small Ordic child that rescued him in one of the no quarter stories.
Did you type img in the insert picture bit? Because that won't work.
Also, it is IMG and then /IMG at the end. Except they are in square brackets.

I used to have that picture as a phone back ground way back when.
I should find a model of a child and use it to model rep the War Dog when I play Butcher3.

To be clear, if you want to put the address between two "img" tags then you type the first "img" without the forward slash, and with the forward slash the second time. For example this: [img]https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-oCSZyKxRT10/Vd8oo5GU76I/AAAAAAAAC5Y/1ZDg09YND2U/s200/SLICES_KoldunLord.jpg[/img] gives you this: Or you just use a single img tag with the address as the "src" property, so this: [img src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-oCSZyKxRT10/Vd8oo5GU76I/AAAAAAAAC5Y/1ZDg09YND2U/s200/SLICES_KoldunLord.jpg"] gives you this: Alternately, you could just click on the "Reply" button that I have outlined in red in this screenshot: That will take you to the full-featured post editor, where you can click on the button I have outlined in red in this second screenshot: That will pop up a dialogue box in which you can paste the image URL, automatically inserting the image. FYI If you look at the bottom left in that last screenshot, you will see two tabs: Preview and BBCode. The BBCode tab shows you the actual img tags, and the Preview tab shows you what the whole post will look like when posted. There is also an "Add Attachment" button at the top right, but I haven't played with it yet, so I don't know how that works. Finally, if you look at the top right of one of your old post (such as the first post you made in this thread), you will see an "edit" button on the top right. If you click on that, it takes you directly to the full-featured editor with the content of your post already filled in. So if you wanted you could insert an image into an old post. Hopefully that's clear enough? EDIT: I've just re-read your post and realised you ARE using the image insertion dialogue box, but adding the img tags to the address while doing so. There's no need for that; the dialogue box adds those tags automatically, so just paste the unedited image address into it.

It's a picture of Butcher and a small Ordic child that rescued him in one of the no quarter stories. Do you know how long it took me to figure that out? If you've ever seen that optical illusion picture, the one which is both an old lady and a young lady depending on how you look at it? It was kind of like that for me: I somehow "saw it wrong" the whole time. It was quite a surprise when I finally realised what I was actually looking at!

So what did you think it was at first? I thought it was a stylized picture of Zevahna Agha. I can't really explain why.

AHA!
Google Drives don't save pictures as readable content. They save them as webpages. It won't work.
Upload it to Imgur or somewhere like that.

Haha! Success! AWESOME thanks all! I had to open up a photobucket account, but that seems to work alright.
