Honestly I really think if you fixed the Errant UA to not dispell your own buffs and reduce the point cost to 9/15 and they might see more play. The main issue between errants and idrians is when you factor in the UA. (and idrians are a point cheaper)
You fix those gaps and you have a winner. Errants could honestly probably benefit from battle driven. It would have some issues with self sac but would otherwise distinguish them from idrians as the AD screen unit. (UA gives battle driven? Please?)

Rather than pay more points to fix the errants, I'd prefer they just....fix the errants. We have 2 of the more effective small-based tarpits in the game already: TFG take several rounds to eliminate most times and can bring Pyrrhus, while Zealots can get nearly the whole unit back a lot of the time, then throw bombs. We don't need more tarpits. The crux of the issue is that errants don't really have a proper role, even in their own theme. Skirmishing? Idrians. Revenge Mechanics? KE, Cinerators, Vengers. Blessed? warjacks. Advance deploy? Idrians again. Cost? KE. Anti-spell? only for one turn, and at the expense of anything you wanted to buff them with. that's....pretty much everything. I think we need, at many times, to break out of our boxes and get something unique. My first buff in line to errants, at no cost, would be immunity to grievous wounds and can ALWAYS have damage removed from them, even when something else says they can't. Then transform the seneschal entirely, removing unyielding(virtually everything with a .5 inch range that gets used is a weaponmaster or has anatomical anyway) in favor of pathfinder, because the expert elite scout needs friggen pathfinder. For a start. I'm practically convinced that Errants will have a look-at in CID. Considering how much PP monitors game discussion, they'd have to be blind to not see how dissatisfied PoM players are with certain elements in faction. Therefore the Warder will not be an end-all be-all fix for the Errant issues. Thing is, people should remember that this solo is being released now because of Company of Iron. In addition, there's a possibility that either 1) Stats have been decided based on future model releases that we don't know of, or 2) Stats will change due to future CID.

of course they'll be looked at. There was a confirmation of an exemplar CID, just not a when. that'll be Bastions, Cinerators, Errants, KE, Vengers, any of their UA's or seneschals plus any new UA's or seneschals, the theme itself, probably Kreoss 2, and we can likely get Reznik 1 in there.
However, given the known schedule, it's gonna be a looooong wait.

Aren't PP blind by default when it comes to PoM?

Aren't PP blind by default when it comes to PoM? It ranges chaotically all the way from a trying-to-help oblivious to open, obvious hostility and trolling. At times I'm shocked the faction is as good as it is. Their work on trolls has now twice been a tooth-grinding slap, first with the dissolution bullshit in the MK 3 spoilers and now with sanguine bond.

Aren't PP blind by default when it comes to PoM? says every player about their own faction ever. seriously the only time people don't say this is when they recieve goodies. by the Time Pom gets its CID, cygnar is gooing to say this about their Faction.

Agreed with charlzheimer. Do remember we're one faction of 11, it can't be Protectorate Menoth-mas all the time. Yes, they may be guilty of having a different view of the meta in internal playtesting, but that's what CID is for. Not to mention their increased presence in online spaces where players congregate will help with the difference in view. Also consider that we as a meta are not privy to the design pipeline. Some choices made in the present may be influenced by things in the future. It would be nice to know who in the office plays PoM. The only ones I know for sure are Jason Soles and Jackson Wood.

I would like to know more. I found this on the web, DOn't know if it's been posted before.
A decorated war hero of the Exemplar errants, Warder Elias Gade leads his team of pious knights on crucial missions into enemy territory. Operating far from the Protectorate of Menoth, Gade relies on a lifetime of battlefield experience and his unshakable faith to secure victory. The whistling of his blessed crossbow bolts have presaged the deaths of countless unbelievers, and by his hand many more will fall.
TRADE POINTS: Elias Gade is a strong combat solo that helps provide support to Exemplar Errants (PIP 32088) and Exemplar Errant Seneschals (PIP 32067). Any warcaster with strong buffs such as Feora, The Conquering Flame (32126) or Grand Scrutator Severius (PIP 32114) will make great use of this new solo.

So it's another model that needs buffs to support models that need buffs?
Maybe he'll hand out retaliatory.

I'm quite fascinated by this model. It's less than a month from release and I've seen no image and the only facts we know are he has the both barrels ability same weapon as standard errants and somehow buffs errants. Usually vendor selling points are more telling this one is extremely vague between the choice of words and the caster suggestions I find it extremely difficult to speculate on what the toolkit will look like. I am a massive advocate for company of iron( the game the model is designed for ) so he will be mine soon. Just wish I knew better what I was getting.

Seeing spoilers here and there (from CID? I am not participating so have no idea), apparently Paladin Dragoon is 8pts and has the best rule in the game - "Lance". Can anyone confirm?
