Interesting thoughts on Eilish, thank you very much. I would almost always include him for free in a Bump list aswell, however i struggle hard to include him in the Menagerie. My lists tend to have only 73 or 74 points if i pick him, which makes him compete directly with a Gorehound, which in my experience always does something useful (at least being a cheap Def14 Prowl freestrike immune contester running 14"). My current list: Grymkin Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Dark Menagerie (Dreamer 1) The Dreamer [+28] - Cage Rager [14] - Crabbit [0(n/a)] - Crabbit [0(n/a)] - Crabbits (2) [7] - Gorehound [6] - Gorehound [6] - Rattler [8] - Skin & Moans [15] - Skin & Moans [15] - Skin & Moans [15] Gremlin Swarm [0(3)] Gremlin Swarm [0(3)] Gremlin Swarm [0(3)] Lady Karianna Rose [4] Death Knell [13] However I'm currently thinking about how Eilish might help the Dreamer against the Fleet (which is played extremely often here, and by pretty clever players in most cases). Is the last list postet here with Eilish and the two Rattlers meant to face the Fleet? Do you think the Dreamer is viable against it at all, especially against Denny1? A list i especially created as Ghostfleet drop was the following, which worked also really well against Dawn-/Houseguard Retribution for example (not hard to imagine what happened... ), but it has to many bad matchups to fit in my pairing. Edit: This was bevore Eilish was released. Grymkin Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Bump in the Night (King of Nothing 1) The King of Nothing [+28] - Crabbits (2) [7] - Crabbits (2) [7] - Frightmare [9] - Gorehound [6] - Gorehound [6] - Gorehound [6] - Gorehound [6] - Gorehound [6] - Rattler [8] Cask Imp (2) [1] Glimmer Imp [0(4)] Lord Longfellow [0(6)] Hollowmen (max) [13] - Lantern Man [3] Hollowmen (max) [13] - Lantern Man [3] Murder Crows [9] Kind regards! I think the Dreamer is super viable into fleet, but it's a hard matchup and the Heretic is much better. I really like Eilish into that matchup actually, since you can repeatedly ping denny for d3 damages over the course of the game and save some arcane vortexes for things that target the Dreamer.

So I feel like a major dunce. Had been playing all my Grymkin DM games (maybe 15 total?) with four free solos versus the five if built right. Played my first Dreamer game into Butcher3. Lost on scenario, but really love how Manifest Destiny works! Feels just nice!

Don't feel bad, there were two identical lists in WTC, except the other guy knew his free stuff so had an additional Crabbit over the other. I wonder if he noticed that.

At that level, you should know that stuff! BitN gets three free solo's, right? Cant seem to get more than that. Side note. Played Heretic today in DM without a DK, and two full units of Rots. Won the game by clock. Played against Tanith (Wild Hunt,) and while my opponent hinted about Heretic being more forward than he should be during my turn, I had already made plans to use my Gremlin Swarms as charge lane blockers/anti-pull/drag (from Loki) Tech. At the end of my turn, it was obvious he didnt see how annoying these little guys can be. Reading these Battle Reports makes my 'growth' in this game quicker and more efficient!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought anybody can walk over/charge over/drag through Gremlin Swarms, as they are incorporeal. So how were you using them to block charge lanes and stop drag, unless you were using them to prevent landing spots? I ask, because I used a Gremlin Swarm to backstop a S&M that charged a poltergeist'd Deathjack, to prevent being pushed out of combat if missed, and it only worked because I charged over the swarm. I don't want to be wrong, and have cheated.

No this is right, I'm not sure how he used the Gremlin Swarms as anti-pull tech, but they're great for blocking charge lanes (by standing in front of your models and denying your opponent landing spots) or to get used as repulse buffers as you described.

I should have clarified. There was a limited area that Loki could land in, and I cluttered the area with the swarms. So he couldnt land in range to pull anything nor charge in with anything else.
