Meh... She is exactly the fusion of a Stormblade (with +1 extra ARM/DEF for Reasons, but not being into the officier bubble being just P+S 13 and POW 12 RNG 4), with a Stormsmith Granadier, so Force Barrier and the 3 usual granades...
Honestly, she doesn't seem particulary inspiring. She is a worse Stormblade (meaning that a random Stormblade grunt is better than her with the sword), with just Force Barrier as an extra benefit and the granades of an unit very rarely used...
Since she doesn't give anything to StormKnights, her only role is to actually use the granades, but if I wanted to use the granades for 7 points i could have 3 granadiers, that defensively are identical (Same DEF, and with Force barrier immune to blasts, and her ARM 16 doesn't matter for direct hits) but are 3 dudes instead of one...
Honestly, I doubt she will se much play. If we were in pre-themes, she could be useful as the cheapest Storm Knights to fuel Stormclads, but since now Stormknights can be played only in Storm Division, and in Storm Division you will have other StormKnights beside her, she doesn't even have that utility.

Valiant leader kind of implied that she'd offer something to stormblades/stormknights, ah well. We got a boatload of good stuff from the trencher cid, so I'm still happy from that

Probably worth 4 points. But, yeah, she's boring. A pure combination of stormblade and stormsmith grenadier. Not better than either at anything, not generally strong enough to be a good halfway package. I'm probably gonna pass on her.
I was hoping the grenade would be a support buff or something. Like: Attack types: -Beacon [Small Based Storm Knight]: For one turn, when a friendly small based storm knight charges a model hit by this attack, they gain +2 movement. -Disruption on damage -Thunderbolt

I mean she is not 'bad', just not exciting and probably not worth taking. With access to Stormblade Captain, Acosta and Laddermore, does Storm Division need another combat solo? I guess def 15 against ranged and magic is kinda neat? stack that with Temporal Flux?
I was hoping she would grant Stormblades something

Interesting that she doesn't have cumbersome like most grenade solos.
She's okay. Its like they mooshed a stormsmmith grenadier and a stormblade together and gave it 5 life boxes and quickwork.
I don't see her getting played much, frankly. It's a marriage of abilities that neither side significantly enhances the other. If she had assault and traded quickwork for berserk, i could see some cute interactions. A little bland, honestly, and teh 4 point solo slot has some huge competition.

I think it is obvious she is designed for the Company of Iron more than regular games

That's fair, though i would hope that the amount of "this model is good in WM/H proper, sucks in CoI" and vice versa is kept to a minimum. Otherwise it's really designing for a different game, but while claiming that its designing for the both simultaneously.
Def 15 in a format with extremely limited boosts will be pretty good.

Unless i'm missing something, just ranged right ? Force barrier only modifies defense against Ranged attack rolls, not magic attack rolls.
Unless did i miss where MK3 consolidated those? I don't think i did, but frankly, i've not kept as "up" on the rules this edition.
