Been doing a ton of CAD lately. Made the bases for a star wars legion project, and it'll be a while before I acquire any rocketdoodz, but I'd love to get some games in with that ashlynn list... also... s Still fiddling with this design, but looking forward to a khador vs llael battle for air supremacy Then this went in a ridiculous direction:

It might just be me, but the fins on the tail of the Khador flying machine made me first think you were trying to make a submarine, and now I can't unsee it.
Maybe remove the curved parts at the end of each fin? I think they're the cause, making me think it's a guard around a propeller or something.
I like the Hogzilla.

The whole idea is based on the Kirov Airship from the Red Alert series; I really want to keep that tail fin style if at all possible. I can totally see the submarine thing; the shape has been screaming "salmon" to me the entire time I was making it. I think this is what I'm going to go with; plop my OW1 figure on the scrapjackblimp and run a OW2+winterguard gunblimps list? Hard to tell at this distance but those weird clouds on scrapblimp are crows; not sure whether I'll keep them. Also, my recent star wars legion terrain/painting/printing work kicks the pants off anything I've ever done for warmachine. Here's a link to my thingiverse page if anyone's interested: www.thingiverse.com/McAnultyMiniatures/designs

I can see the submarine thing, but the nature of blimps and submarines are similar, so they will look a bit alike. I like the gun blimp idea a lot!

i would suggest a mate black rod as support stand for flying models, "tactical rocks" always look off. smoke can pass off ok, but dictates an above average paintjob on it.

any update on those because i'm curious as heck about that one now.

Been ages since I posted anything, mostly been consumed by Star Wars Legion. Anyway there's a cool void archon proxy file on thingiverse which needed piggification. Wings from the base file definitely need to be thickened up a bit to survive handling though (just popped the second one off the printer, fingers crossed). charlzheimer i do still have that file somewhere, would have to dig it up tho. Would love to reprint that now since I've acquired resin printers since I initially did that

Think I can get away with scaling up a tad more without overhang. Really hard to imagine a farrow fitting in there though. I can raise the turret up a little bit and scaling will help too, but I don’t think that’s going to be enough... might need to figure out a way to imply it’s a brain-in-a-jar sort of situation?

Honestly Inthino it would look pretty good with a jar full of brain sticking off the top.
Either that or cover it in a bunch of Nac Mac Feegle.

That's one hell of a unique army you've put together!
