Are those red bits from the skorne battlegroup?

Yep, a bunch of spare bits from the battleboxes (i have 4), 2 extra swordies that were floating around, 2 removable karax (so i can still use that unit when needed), and 6 pieces from the animantarax.

Nice, the pose makes it very clear who he counts as.

3 day weekend resulted in lots of works in progress: I think I'm going to use that occultist as part of a bone grinder party for that "my COI" contest thing. Garrity might have been the commander for the group if the prize didn't involve PP making a custom commander figure (a roundabout way of getting a bone grinder model named after Azahul ), so the leader got some malifaux bits to hopefully look like whatever's dripping out of the pot has pulled a pig spirit out of its corpse. The bone grinder leader doesn't mind sacrificing his action to let the boneswarm use its animus, so that might not be a bad in-game decision either as garrity doesn't really care for the hp. Turning some dirt cheap battlebox gladiators into sentries... Not sure what my color scheme for the skorne themselves is, so I'm not sure I'm going to get that part painted for a bit so here's what's done:

Touched up Helga and the Slaughterhouser leader... The Warhog>roadhog conversion's flamethrower and shoulder look better: Pig Flags! Sale on reaperbones results in some warbeasts for ~$4 each Everyone makes bokur conversions and I've done a few before, but I'm looking forward to painting this pig bokur that's curing...

Damn, that's a lot of good stuff. Is that Bokur a Doomreaver?

The slaughterhouser grunt below I was trying to copy basically has a doomreaver mask; I don't think there's a clear dividing line? The weapon is definitely intended to be a slaughterhouser pole though:

Ah, that makes sense.

Still a lot of detail work to do, but most of the major pieces are done:

An afternoon's nostalgia for mk2 piglasers resulted in this... More fun with the bits box:

Pig-vault still has detail work to go, but coming along...

Are you going to put it on wheels? May I offer an alternate suggestion: have it carried by ghosts, like the old GW coven throne (only not nearly as high obviously):

Soul Samurai I was planning on wheels, with light beasts pushing it (it's not like splatter #3 and battleboar #6 are getting much use). However I really like that idea as it'd represent the soulstorm as well... I still need to think through the details and get a bunch of war hog heads (or just cut down on the superflous razorboars lying around), but I think that's doable. Hoard o' bits sells the bottom part of that coven throne for $15 which is intriguing, though I'll probably end up sculpting instead so it fits the base better
