Pretty sure a movement tray would violate the rules. I would object if one of my opponents tried to use one. Is it? I've never had problems, and I measure from the actual base for ranges. Yes, it is. Read the section on Unit Activation on page 64. It says "completely resolve the Normal Movement of one trooper before moving on to the next." A movement tray is clearly against the rules.

I play casual, and every one I've played with doesn't mind. It's no worse than charging the models before doing all the attacks.

Well, if by "charging the models" you mean resolving each model's movement before resolving any actions, that is exactly how the rules tell you to resolve it. I don't want to sound harsh or judgmental here, but I feel that it is important to point out errors for the benefit of those who are seeking to improve their play while following the rules. That said, using a movement tray is not allowed, and is not an acceptable form of time management.

So mostly a dwarf player here, but I recently noticed that my local gaming store has thexus and a lot of monstrosities just sitting on their shelf. Further more I think they have one unit of drudges, and I think I saw a solo (either a dominator or agitator). Now I don't know why, but recently I've been thinking Ceph might be fun to add on, but I just don't know if any of that stuff is worth it. Can someone make a list with like 5-6 monstrosities, a dominator, and Thexsus or am I better off waiting till I can find a ton of drudges and the such and add a few monstrosities? Thoughts?

crow— Thexus can run monstrosity spam well due to TK and Psychosurgery. My list would be Thexus, 3 Wreckers, 3 Wardens, 1 Subduer, 3 Agitators, 2 Kayazy Eliminators w/ Dominators. Agitator solos are important for giving your monstrosities +2 to hit and damage, while the eliminators can provide focus due to anatomical precision.

Got a friend just getting into warmachine, but he loves the Cephalyx look, and I could use some help getting him started at around 15 points if anyone has some suggestions we could proxy up before going shopping it would be appreciated.

I haven't changed my Cyphon list in a while but this is what I use: conflictchamber.com/#c6201b_Z07faelelememememeieieiegchejchejMercenary Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Operating Theater (Cyphon 1) Cognifex Cyphon [+29] - Warden [10] - Warden [10] - Wrecker [14] - Wrecker [14] - Wrecker [14] - Wrecker [14] Cephalyx Agitator [3] Cephalyx Agitator [3] Cephalyx Agitator [3] Cephalyx Mind Bender & Drudges (min) [7] Kayazy Eliminators [5] - Cephalyx Dominator [1] Kayazy Eliminators [5] - Cephalyx Dominator [1] I've found that your feat is mainly for the threat range and damage boost. Getting your wreckers to ARM20 doesn't matter since lists are already built to deal with Khador heavies.

Or the same list with Thexus.
It gets more interesting once you add a few more points. I'd just add a warden to the above at 25 though.

Just coming back after a long hiatus wanted to ask the forums if they knew whether or not we would be allowed to use pistol wraith again anytime soon or if I should just sell that investment...

Cephalyx can no longer use the Cryx solos they were able to in mk2. In theory we may be able to in a future theme force, but I think that's a long time out.

I had to deal with not being able to play my 4 vanguard for Zerkova1 theme list. I think I may just stay away from themes all together now unless they include faction models. I literally have no where to play my pistol Wraith.

Question. Does spell driver trigger rage fueled? It does not. Rage Fueled provides focus from attacks and continuous effects.
