I think it would be pretty cool if Siege2 got an additional dice damage on his first attack after leaping (He is going to have a jump pack the artwork was clear) In the primecast they talked about a deployable turret, so as much fun as rocketman siege sounds, I'm worried that the thing that looks like a rocket pack might be the turret on the back waiting to be deployed.

Can we please return to Trencher COD please? My mistake for turning us the wrong way. Anyway, what Is like to see is - Rifle Grenades - Add a P+S 15 no AOE ammo type. Commandos - Gain Backstab or Overtake. That's literally all I'd ask for, because changing anything else, might be a wee bit broken. Backstab *might* be a little strong because it works on Guns with Haley 2, but would certainly be funny. Pow 15 feels too powerful despite it being worse than a Winter Guard rocket in every way...which is insane when I think about it.

I want little bazooka dude WA for either trenchers. Give them high pow or maybe even AP.
I know mechanically trencher forces should probably be relying on jacks to crack armor but I still feel like they would be equipped with someway to handle armor themselves if friendly jacks aren't around

Agreed, it's a problem with the gun Mage theme as well, I feel like battle groups shouldn't *have* to be the sole source of armor cracking in an army. Though the trenchers do have the trench buster, who really can do some serious damage, but obviously can be a bit hard to deliver.

Could be. Be interesting to see how they differentiate them from the Heavy Rifle Team.

Could be. Be interesting to see how they differentiate them from the Heavy Rifle Team. That's what I'm really curious about. It feels very much like this new model / unit will be compared to the Heavy Rifle Team almost no matter the way you design it. I'm interested to see how / or even if PP will try to differentiate these two teams.

Well, my guess is that the Trolls will be a 2 man unit. They'll have troll stats (probably def 12, arm 15, tough). Probably faster than the heavy rifle if it isn't artillary. I'm kinda hoping for crit amputation with heavy rifle.

They could be if the theme said so. This is one of the things that I really hope PP does with the Trencher theme (allow you to take one mercenary unit with Murdoch attached, and make them Trencher models as a result). I think you are dreaming, m8. It wouldn't make any thematic sense. "Murdoch, who are these new recruits? They look a bit on the short side." Murdoch-"These are forgeguard trencher recruits, sir." Officer-"they look an awful lot like normal forgeguard, though. Are you sure they belong in our ranks?" Murdoch-"Certainly, sir. I've taught them how to dig in. Watch." *All of the dwarves start wailing on the ground with their giant hammers* I just don't see it happening. PP has way more incentive to push the new models they are selling. I think Murdoch is going in the pile of models without a theme, along with long gunners and Pendrake. Ahem.... ...I told you so? =)

Wish I could bring my Devil dogs. I maintain that forge guard trenchers are exactly as silly as I described.

Well, they are not considered Trenchers anyway.

Trencher Cannon - Give it Advance Deploy, Dig in is a waste of time on it at the moment.
You do know that one of the insiders addressed why the cannon lost AD, right? Just in case you missed it, the Trencher Cannon got AD back, now I don't want to say 'I told you so', but....

I do know they changed their minds on that. And CID isn't over yet, so we shall see. If you are at all superstitious, take care against jinxs
