For those of us who don't follow the Hengehold scrolls, what's happening? The battle is raging at Henge Hold. Nemo went through the gate and "met" Cyriss, which is in fact a whole galaxy. Refugees are following him. People at the gate (Aurora and Haley) don't know if those who went through it are still alive. The Infernals sense people are fleeing through the gate and are therefore panicking. A few merc casters are presumably dead (Madhammer, MacBain, Damiano). Vladimir just charged in with the Umbrean cavalry (Warriors of the Old Faith). He's currently beating the shit out of Zaateroth, and he's not tiring, which surprises both of them. A Cygnaran and a Khadoran ship just arrived above the battle. The Khadoran one juste dropped Karchev in the middle of the fight. There is a reference to his "colossal frame" which has ignited the Internet: is he now in a Colossal chassis?

That Hengehold Scroll is getting real. Pretty sure they killed Drake MacBain, Durgen Madhammer, and Damiano in the last week. All off-screen. The most likely candidate being Damiano. On the positive side Khador has found a way to get Karchev where he wants to be. "Drop me closer I want to hit them with my axe". Damiano was 100% on-screen.

I haven't been reading it. I tried briefly at the start, found it annoying and frustrating, and wrote it off. You should catch up with the biweekly summaries, at least! They’re presented in normal human formatting.

For those of us who don't follow the Hengehold scrolls, what's happening? Clearly Karchev has transcended the chains of physical existence and come to embody the very concept of Axe. Wherever there is Axe, he is there. Basically, he's the Candyman, but with an axe instead of a hook. Either that or Havok really needs to start giving us something more concrete, 'cos I surely can't be bothered to go look into it myself - plus I find more entertainment value in rampant and clearly incorrect speculation. I'm writing up rules for Orbital Bombardment and Candyman Karchev in my head as we speak. KARCHEV 2: (Huge base) Orbital Drop: This model does not start the game with a battlegroup and is not deployed normally. Instead, once per game at the start of the controlling player's maintenance phase in any round after the first, choose a point anywhere on the table and roll deviation, treating the origin as the closest point on the controlling player's table edge. Place Karchev on the table at this location. Models underneath his base are removed from play. Models within 6" take a boostable POW20 damage roll. Karchev must forfeit his movement or action this turn.
KARCHEV 3: (No base) Embodiment Of Axe: This model does not have a model and cannot have a battlegroup. The entire table is in it's control and command ranges. This model can cast spells and make melee attacks against any model at any time. Friendly Faction models in it's control area gain an additional dice on melee attack and melee attack damage rolls made with an axe.

Well, it looks like I took so long writing that last post that I missed a whole lot of summary...

All off-screen. The most likely candidate being Damiano. On the positive side Khador has found a way to get Karchev where he wants to be. "Drop me closer I want to hit them with my axe". Damiano was 100% on-screen. None of the merc casters have been killed off 'officially' yet. The way it's worded it's pretty obvious that they're dead, but it still leaves leeway for that 'haha jk' moment. damiano - 'the horrors descended on him. it was neither swift nor glorious' - naturally you'd assume this means his death, but it could also be referring to the brawl between them. From what I've heard PP likes their plot armor thicker than oatmeal and harder than Weinstein when he sees an unaccompanied child, so anything's possible. I kind of hope they have the cojones to start dropping characters, but so far it's not looking like that's going to happen. as a side note, it would've been absolutely hilarious if they actually killed off Ashlynn2. That'd be the most balls to the walls 'Firetruck you' moment imaginable.

Damiano realizes he’s in trouble when he gets close to Agathon, starts thinking about a glorious death, then Agathon looks at him and says “Here, have a billion more horrors” and he’s overwhelmed. Damiano’s dead, dude.

Hey, they paraded Fisher's corpse with CGI magic in the latest movie even after she bit the big one. They seem hellbent on shitting on the original cast as hard as possible, so Solo's dead as a doornail, but the writing in star wars in general >: ) latest trilogy is so abysmal it wouldn't surprise me if he's magicked back to life somehow.

I bet you believe Han Solo is still alive too. Nah, Disney would never bring back an important Star Wars character who we believed was dead because he fell down a giant hole in a Death Star shortly before it blew up after being betrayed by a Sith who dressed in black with a face-hiding mask. Right?

The Khadoran one juste dropped Karchev in the middle of the fight. There is a reference to his "colossal frame" which has ignited the Internet: is he now in a Colossal chassis? What if, and hear me out here, what if he's still on a regular 50mm base, but now has a jet pack? How else would he be able to just hop down from an airship?! Jet packs are a thing in the Iron Kingdoms, and they're getting more popular besides, with Seige and those GC guys getting them, it's Khador's turn! Man, so many directions PP could take K2...
