I've wanted to play circle for a long time but never pulled the trigger. I just picked up some new stuff and had some hiding in the closet. The warlocks that interest me the most are the following. Any help on who plays well with who would be great I'm just going to dabble with a couple warlocks as a side venture at the moment.
Ekaya Ekeuegar P/E Baldur Ekromac
I wish eMorv was in a better place her model is amazing!

Can't go wrong with krue2 he does well vs shooting and scenario in my experience plus hes so toolboxy you can almost play into anything. Everyone likes kromac2 for armor smashing. If this is a side venture play what you find is fun. I play morv2 all the time. Skinwalkers are no joke now, skinwalkers that come back are even better. Plus with mannikins and shifting stones its pretty funny how many people you can get into a super charged death knell.

Baldur2 / Kaya2 will do fine. Baldur handles any of the dedicated gun line matchups like Ret and Cygnar and Kaya will run well into your Kahdor jack spam. Either one should do okay into infantry spam if you run into them. While that's my primary recommendations you also could make a good pair out of Baldur2 and Kromac2, or Kreuger2 / Kaya2 or Kromac2.

I also second Kaya2/Baldur2. The only area where they are not dedicated is infantry spam, but since you can't cover everything it looks like a good bet covering armor, jack spam and most of the ret/cygnar ranged.
The only issue is they both play quite clumped so they could have issues with some of the SR missions. I also play this pair, will test a bit and give some feedback.

what baldur2 lists are you pairing with ekaya? Gargantuan build or ghetorix build? Those two are by far my fav circle fluff so it would be cool to run them.

If you are pairing with kaya2 you probably want to go hardcore arm skew. I think Any of the following lists would work in SR 2016 or SR2017 Baldur2: Megs, 2 Wardens, 2 Guardians 2 sentry stones, 2 wayfarers, 2 stoneshapers and 2 units of shifting stones. I have had really good success with this list into Ret and Cygnar. Its a great tanky gunline drop that heals the dmg that gets stripped off on the approach. Honestly In SR 2017 I just tend to sit back contesting the zones and scoring where I can and just let my opponent run his clock down trying to remove my army. It hits a lot harder than it looks too. Ganging up with the wolds is key to the list. 2 guardians lays the hurt on things, free charges and the fury management also mean you can run your beasts hot. Baldur 2: 2 Wraths, Megs, 2 sentry stones, 3 free stoneshapers. This list has lots of beef hits hard and is just all round fantastic. I don't own a second wrath but i have proxied it before and it is just brutal. dont know how it will fare in SR2017 as it can be easily gummed up but manikins help clear jamming infantry and in shoots surprisingly well. Bladur 2: Megs, Feral, Loki, Ghetorix, 2 sentry stones 2 shifting stones 2 wayfarers a gallows grove and a gobber chef. Basically character pack It hits like a truck and is incredibly durable. I prefer to play in theme but I can say this list has serious legs and can face down jack spam pretty well. Rock wall is incredibly helpful here and requires lost of work to get the most out of positioning. Def 16 (18 from ranged) arm 22 warpwolves that cant be knocked down are a nightmare to deal with. Baldur 2: Woldwrath, Megs, 2 Guardians, 2 gallows groves, 3 stoneshapers, 2 snetry stones. This list is for those of us who love the woldwrath but cant afford two *cries softly* It hits hard, tanks well and can go into most lists just through sheer beef. Its not my favorite variation but it gives me an excuse to put "Biggy smalls" (my woldwrath) on the table and watch him tank.

Thanks! I have most of the stuff for the character pack so I will probably run that to start and maybe proxy a couple variants to start. Sounds like I got a starter pair thanks again for all of the help everyone.

My pair with kaya2 is baldur2 double wrath + meg. I am thinking about trying the new fulcrum instead of megalith, the CID rules are interesting if confirmed. Ghetorix build is also ok, but it's too similar to my kaya2 list (like, if I find a list with plenty of Knock out effect, both are in trouble). I think it's a good list as well, but for a different pairing.

Gave Baldur2 character list two tries this weekend and boy did I learn a lot lol. First time playing circle and it was a doozy. First game I played way too defensively and lost on scenario and game two was a grind fest. I made one big error that could've won me the game but all in all I felt a lot better game 2. With that being said I definitely need to learn the fine balance for model placement. I didn't want to give up heavies and protected ghetto and the feral by forests etc but hurt myself since they don't have pathfinder. It's going to take some time but I definitely had fun. I don't want to buy the big guy yet but I would welcome some ranged presence.
