As I see it the Bloodpack just needs to be more focused. They have possibly our best ranged unit attack but then they're muddled by having hearteater and moderate melee ability on a fairly expensive/fragile unit. They need a distinct role and tightened ruleset.

I like the thematic-ness of snacking on the warbeast (and think it's hilarious that Megalith can do it with no mouth) but it rarely has much impact. I find the same from tracker in Wildhunt. It would be nice to have something more effective for the themes.

I'm super psyched about what this guy is doing for Kromac2, LotF and Death wolves.

That's a very interesting list Punk. I've played around with list builds in Secret Masters (I really want it to be feasible) but that wasn't something I put together. For the most part I still feel that SM is missing a key component or two but I'm glad your finding success with it.

I was playing a Kromac2 COTW list over the weekend that was similiar to this. I had one less Stalker in favor of more beasts but otherwise mostly the same. It worked well, wrecked infantry and armor although suffers in scenario presence sometimes.

It sounds like you have a pretty solid Wild hunt foundation there. I agree you will want a unit of Reeves (with ua) and probably one skinwalkers is enough (make sure they have the ua though). You may want to pick up some warwolf solo's and maybe a Reeve Hunter solo. You will also struggle to deal with armour so consider a heavy warbeast.

Pretty soon the Spirit Cauldron will be available and I think it will be popular in lists with Kromac or the Deathwolves.

Absolutely ambush with those Wolves. The beauty of this is usually it makes your opponent afraid of the table edges so they bunch up in the middle. If they don't the Wolves can reliably remove just about anything. I often use the min unit (with ua) because you don't get whittled down before they engage.
I'm curious what you expect from the shifting stones in this list? You don't need fury management or teleport and the healing isn't likely to do much. Is it just a cheap unit for zones?

He is on Loswarmachine.com now but is still worth checking out. They also have a great podcast. As for a suggestion here's one I like that may be over looked: the Blackclad wayfarer charges a model, kills, then using battlewizard teleport to a flag near a shifting stone. Ideally the stone(s) will help shield the wayfarer. Obviously the wayfarer isn't using his spray or hunter's mark, which is usually why he is in the list, but it is sometimes the right move. For a more specific wolfsworn move: Grayle's tactician allows you to screen Wolves with Skinwalkers but still counterstrike with a power swell charge through them. Be sure to have Death march on the Skinwalkers to really punish. Also, vengeance attacks can be used to trigger the warwolf's sic'em.

I play both factions and I often wish the Circle beasts could be as mobile and hard hitting as the flying Legion beasts. It also drives me a little nuts that Kaya should be capable of at least half of what Abby is but Kaya isn't (why did Kaya2 lose a weaker version of alpha hunter?). On the other hand Circle has some other really great casters and access to some spells Legion would love (Looking at you hunters mark). Legion has some pretty sweet infantry but pays through the nose and so much of Legion is so fragile it makes Circle look like tanks. Legion beasts also have quite a bit more ranged options but less shananigans like throwing and bulldoze. I quite like ogryns but I would compare them to male tharn or skinwalkers not female tharn. Bloodtrackers are much more like strides, which I think beat out the trackers. Also, both factions have good but very different support pieces. Yeah, I'm always amazed by how Survivable Warpwolves are compared to the Carni Chassis. 14 def goes a long way on a heavy that also has high armor. I'd say the Angelius and Neraphs prove this, but they have fewer health boxes. True but they can't be knocked down to take away that high def.
