I've seen power strike used before a couple times. But they've only been game ending situations where the power striking player needed to remove a full health heavy with an armor buff from a spell or feat from a zone, and figured it'd just be more reliable to go for the power strike.
But the one rule I always forget is Spirit Bond (or whatever its called when you can leach a single fury from a beast that's already dead). You're probably camping pretty high if your beasts are all dead in the late game anyway.

For the base units, an extra 2 points gets Precision Strike and Practiced Maneuvers. Then the CAs give Iron Zeal and Side Step for Black Dragons; or Defensive Formation and Relentless Charge for standard IFP. What's the community consensus on these two units? I see way more Black Dragons than standard IFP, but Relentless Charge and the minifeat seem pretty good on standard IFP. Is the upgrade worth the two extra points?

With some janky positioning you could get Last Stand on Alexia_1, she could probably one round a Colossal I'd argue the Irusks can already do that better because she doesn't die at the end. Those who've said the optimal last stand targets are WGI with Bear Strength from Joe are probably right. Last stand feels weird to me on a caster other than Zaal 1. It just works so well with him and Nihilators, and then feeds his feat so that it doesn't feel like a loss when your dudes die from the spell. Without that synergy, idk. It's a cool spell, just not as insanely awesome here as it is elsewhere.
