Well let’s face it. Minions have basically become their own 2 factions, and they need stuff beyond what they get working for other factions. Helga 2 has an amazing battle group.
Her main weakness is that she actually only has 2 spells, though they’re good upkeeps, making her able to even do things like have sod 9 sprint road hogs ( and repo 5 every other turn). Primed is interesting on things that you want to send in as suicide units
I think riot quest is an interesting way to introduce new warlocks... do you think we will see epic nareesh next?

Yeah, at this point, she's going to be a good replacement for people that want a slightly worse Carver. With a few minor changes, she's going to be fairly strong without being oppressive or faction defining.

Is there a joke I'm not seeing in the title? I feel like there's a joke I'm not seeing in the title.
She's definitely a disappointment for anyone hoping for a super solo Warlock. And presumably also for anyone hoping for a properly good Warlock. Fingers crossed that the whole "these rules are not final" disclaimer turns out to be a promise.
Also she's only Repo 3 every turn.

I would have to assume best/bestest here is facetious...
Strong contender for the worst in the (sub)faction.

I think she’s legitimately going to make some units just absurd. Her upkeeps mean that sprint is going to trigger on that primed unit, which if it’s a warbeasts, gets +2 speed. Now primed + aggression dial is something that’s a really angry, Mat 8 war hog.
And dont discount the fact that, especially on the feat turn, she can be fairly dangerous on her own, her crit knockdown barely even matters at mat 11... and then just dash away.

You're wrong on multiple accounts there. Escort doesn't add to sprint or Feat movement, it's a Movement buff not a Speed buff. Primed can't be put on Warbeasts, it's warrior model/units only (and she offers no other tools to actually deliver infantry). And as for "fairly dangerous", she has the lowest output of any Engine of Destruction 'caster outside of scenarios where she puts Primed on herself... which is certainly a move I would consider, because otherwise she isn't going to be achieving too much. But then you're hoping that being 9-11" away from the enemy lines is enough to keep her safe at presumably low camp and 14/15 defensive stats.

Well that’s a bummer. I hope it gets tweaked a little to make it seem more possible to do that.
Anyway, I hope they also make a character Valkyrie unit on bikes called helga’s angels

I'm still sad that they went with Helga on Wheels instead of Highway to Helga for the name. Helga's Angels is definitely a solid name for a unit though.
It does sound like the Flashing Blade removal was made at extremely short notice prior to the spoiling of her current rules (based on Hungerford spoiling that she had Flashing Blade on a podcast only a few days beforehand), so we can at least hope that the rest of her kit will improve to make up for the loss in personal output.

prolly not the best place for it. but part of me wishes her spd would increase by 1. and that her feat gave her a FREE engine of destruction casting.
PP wants more assasinations after all. might aswell make her go hogwild on feat turn.

Speed 8 would be lovely just for the parallels with the Meat Thresher, if nothing else.

I think riot quest is an interesting way to introduce new warlocks...
Not in my opninion. RQ is apparently trying to chase the fad of cartoony games like Fortnight or Overwatch and I don't like the infantile cartoonishness of this aesthetic in my Warmachine The less motopigs from Mars and alligators wearing top hats in the game, the better for me.
Immersion-wise I much prefer the Iron Kingdoms core of Warmachine, steampunk Game of Thrones not steampunk Saturday cartoon. The Leage of Legends/Fortnight aesthetic puts me of on so many levels, yet more and more board games adopt it to chase fans of those video games...

You dare? Wrong Eye is peak aesthetic. And he's not even a RQ model. I think the way Helga and Crawtooth fits into the IK look perfectly fine. Their tech and outfits don't look out of place at all - Helga is riding a modified Meat Thresher, and Craw is wearing the uniform of an unfortunate former captain. Wrong Eye's fashion sense also looks about what you'd expect from a reptile mage - probably stole the clothes right off the first beggar he found. What bothers me is models like Bamfist, the flying storm knight, Eyriss4's guns, Dez the default dancer, and to some degree Widget. The overtly cartoony, technologicaly out of place stuff. Gubbin and Flubbin look great, they're just gobbers with dynamite strapped to them. Wastelander looks so out of place it loops back around to being good. Apocalypse riders are just four neigh slayers. Flugwug also looks good, I really like it when PP releases characters of various races that break the mold. Flug looks like he spends his time being a degenerate inside cities, and isn't just a tribal croak for once. Ledfoot also looks completely fine in the setting, and the silly hat ties him visually to Gunny. Butcher4 is a bit silly, but I think he still looks like himself.
